Some places just have a kind of comfort to them right when you walk in and this two bedroom villa in The Springs is one of those. I honestly found myself standing in the living room just feeling how calm it is which is not always something you get in Dubai. You can always tell when a home is lived in and looked after and this one really is. There is this semi closed kitchen that actually feels like somewhere you want to cook something proper instead of just grabbing takeaway again and I could imagine someone making coffee here in the morning with sunlight coming in through the balcony doors. And the living and dining space open right out to the garden so you can almost picture kids running in and out or just relaxing with some tea in the evening breeze.

Something I noticed is how well maintained everything is here. Sometimes you walk through a place and see lots of small things that need work but here it really feels ready to move in. A lot of people love The Springs because of how green it is too. You get these wide walking paths lakes that reflect the light at sunset and a bunch of gardens and park areas where sometimes you see families spreading out blankets for a snack or just watching their kids play under the trees. Every day feels a little bit slower and easier here if that makes sense.

I have to mention how close the Springs Souk is. It is honestly right across the road from the gate which is great for quick errands or, if you are like me, you might find yourself drifting over for coffee or maybe dinner at one of the restaurants. There is even a cinema and little shops so you never feel out of touch with the city. Local schools and nurseries are nearby so mornings are a lot simpler for families, you see kids biking to the bus stop a lot. If you have a dog you will probably end up meeting half the community on the daily walks around the lake and you notice how everyone kind of knows each other which is becoming rare nowadays.

Laundry room is tucked away neatly so no need for racks and baskets everywhere which makes life neater for sure. The whole villa just gives off this vibe that you can settle in and make it your own pretty quickly. Whether you are a couple looking to start out or a small family coming to Dubai or even if you just want a peaceful retreat to call home it kind of works for all of that.
