Volante, Business Bay
Some places just have that quiet, easy feeling when you first walk in. I had one of those moments the second the elevator opened into this penthouse in Volante right on the water in Business Bay. Somehow the city outside feels a little softer from up here. You can see so much of Dubai from the windows that you almost forget about checking your phone or hurrying anywhere. Maybe it is the way sunlight rolls across the limestone floors or how you can hear the faint sound of the canal every now and then. Everything just belongs where it is. Honestly I found myself just standing at the glass for a bit not even thinking about work or errands.
So this is a two bedroom penthouse in Volante and to be honest it genuinely feels more like a villa than an apartment. The floor plan spreads across half the building which is not something you see every day in Business Bay. The space adds up to just over five thousand square feet. It is big enough to never feel crowded even if you have people over on the weekends or just want to move your furniture around now and then. What impressed me most is that the space does not feel cold or echoey. I have seen open plan homes that miss this warm feeling but here, Zebrano wood lines some of the walls and the cabinets and it just brings a sense of comfort you will notice right away.
The kitchen is actually somewhere you would want to cook breakfast for real. You will see built in appliances while you are there and plenty of space if you like company while you cook or just want to spread out your ingredients. I remember talking to someone who lives here and they said mornings feel more relaxed because the kitchen makes it easy. You can imagine making coffee with a view of the canal then just sitting at the counter for a while as the city wakes up. It does not feel staged or too modern to actually use.
Now about the bedrooms. Both are pretty big and honestly you are getting more space than a lot of whole apartments in Business Bay get. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. They are far apart enough that you really have your own quiet spot. The walk in closets live up to the name you will see what I mean when you step in. Bathrooms are finished with marble and glass. The water pressure is something I always check and here, you will not be disappointed. Morning light is gentle so you do not get blasted awake but instead get this soft glow that lets you ease into the day. One of the bedrooms looks out at the canal and the view genuinely never gets old. At night you see the changing city lights and in the morning it is just boat traffic and calm.
The living space is open with wide windows letting you see Dubai laid out in front of you. I remember standing there just watching the sunset. You are high up enough that city noise feels far away. Plus there is a movie room downstairs for film nights. The gym has proper equipment not just a few machines tucked in a corner. There is a spa too so on tough days you can unwind without leaving home and the infinity pool runs a pretty long stretch so you can swim while the city wakes up or lights up after dark.
Valet service downstairs makes life smoother. You will notice security is present but not intrusive. For a building in downtown Dubai it actually feels much more relaxed than you would expect. Downstairs there is a restaurant that a lot of residents seem to pop into for a coffee or brunch so even if you do not always want to cook you have options.
Living here in Volante puts you moments from the Metro and you can walk over to the business district if you want. But inside your home it feels surprisingly private. People take evening walks along the canal and sometimes you will notice a real neighborhood feel with the café scene growing nearby and familiar faces popping up.
Honestly, I think you only really know if this makes sense for you by seeing it in person. If you have any questions or just want to come by for a look around, I am always here. At LuxuryProperty.com we just want your next move in Dubai to feel easy and right for you.
