The Address The BLVD, Downtown Dubai
There is something about walking into this two bedroom apartment at The Address The BLVD in Downtown Dubai that just feels easy. Maybe it is the height—I mean it is pretty high up so the city stretches out forever—and maybe it is that hush you get once the elevator doors close behind you and you step into your own space. The first thing I noticed was that view. It is sort of impossible not to. You can stand at the window and just watch the skyline shift with the light all day if you want or spot people down on Mohamed Bin Rashid Boulevard and the fountains. Sometimes you realize how much is happening below and it makes your own spot up here feel kind of peaceful.
Inside this home is honestly much bigger than you guess from the outside. There is a main living area where the windows just pull you over for another look. In the corner is a sleek kitchen that makes you want to actually cook instead of just order something. It has all those built in appliances already sorted for you. Not just showy stuff either. You will see the appliances are proper good and everything is neat so you are not hunting around for space or worrying about where the pans go. It is a proper kitchen you could use every day if you like frying eggs in the morning or just brewing coffee before heading out. And you will want to open the window and let in a bit of that downtown breeze sometimes. There are two bedrooms here and both of them have ensuite bathrooms. They actually feel like proper private spaces not just somewhere to shut the door and sleep. If you have guests over it is easy because nobody really has to wait or take turns with the bathrooms and each person sort of gets their own quiet spot.
Something I always notice about The Address The BLVD is how looked after you feel. There is a proper concierge—not just someone standing near a desk—and round the clock security that do their job but without making things feel strict. I chatted for a few minutes with someone at the desk last time and you can usually get something sorted out pretty quick if you need help with a delivery or just directions to something. Downstairs there is a swimming pool with a real resort feeling. The water always looks fresh and the sun hits it just right in the afternoon so you can bring down a towel and feel like you are somewhere special without really leaving home. If you are into working out there is a gym. The equipment is modern. It is not too crowded most times I have looked which is always good. There is also a sauna if you ever need a break after a tough week. Plus if you want to have friends or family over there are events spaces and a business lounge you can use if you ever need to work but do not want to get dressed up for a meeting.
If food is your thing you will not run out of places to try. The building itself has restaurants with regional and international stuff. If you step out onto the boulevard you are surrounded with cafes and proper restaurants. You could have breakfast somewhere new every weekend if you felt like it. And living here means things like The Dubai Mall or the Burj Khalifa are honestly just a stroll away. Weekends feel different here. You see people walking with shopping bags or couples just wandering around. Kids biking sometimes too. It feels alive day or night.
This apartment is unfurnished which I think is actually a plus sometimes. You can make it yours. Bring in your own style. Or just keep it simple and let the views do the talking. The built up area is about fourteen hundred fifty square feet. Feels bigger though. The only real way to see if it suits you is to come and look.
