Some homes just have a slowdown effect as soon as you walk into them and this two bedroom apartment in Al Msalli at Shoreline, Palm Jumeirah really does that. I came in and sort of forgot about my phone for a bit. You have to admire that sea view from the high floor balcony there is just nothing like looking out and actually seeing the water roll toward the sand and if you turn your head you even spot the Burj Al Arab peeking out in the distance. Not every place on Palm Jumeirah can say that.
People always ask about space now. This is the largest two bedroom layout in Shoreline and it shows. With nearly two thousand square feet you get a living room that spreads out without feeling empty. I picture late morning coffees or book reading kind of afternoons by the glass doors that go out to the balcony. The kitchen does not feel like a show kitchen either it is big enough for real cooking and even sharing it with someone else while you chop and talk about your day. There is an entrance hall so you have a bit of breathing room coming in from the elevators or just taking off your shoes and keys.
Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms so mornings do not turn into a schedule. The master has its own balcony too and honestly if you are someone who likes to step out early with coffee in hand this is that kind of spot. Sometimes I can hear the waves or a little breeze from there and it just makes it a softer start to the day. The second bedroom feels like it would work well for a kid or as a really private guest room. And the maid's room is not just an afterthought either it is tucked away with actual space.
Living in Shoreline means you get access to the private beach gym and a pool that is just for residents. I have seen folks go for quick morning runs or just walk across to Al Ittihad Park right across the road. That jogging track fills up with families and runners especially in the evenings. And the coffee shop is really not far at all so if you want to grab something without going in the car it just feels easy here. Nakheel Mall is right nearby too for when you want something a bit more lively or need to do a quick shop. Sometimes you see parents or nannies bringing kids to the play areas which always seem pretty lively toward late afternoon.
Getting on and off the Palm from this side of Shoreline is honestly less stressful than you might think. The location just works. I see why families like to settle here there is a sense of community but also enough privacy. Plus if you have friends who live on the Palm or work in the Marina you are not ever too far from nice places to meet up.
This apartment is still tenanted for now and will be vacant in a year since the notice has been given. That gives you some time to plan or maybe even have an income if you want to keep it as a rental for a while. The parking is sorted with its own reserved space so coming home late is never really a headache.
