Marinascape Avant, Marinascape, Dubai Marina
Some places just hit differently the second you step inside. This two bedroom apartment in Marinascape, right in the heart of Dubai Marina, did that for me. Maybe it was the sunlight bouncing off the water outside or the way you can see almost the whole Marina from the living room, but it just kind of made me stop and actually breathe for a second.
You'll notice right away that the space feels thought through. The kitchen does not feel like one of those spaces you only use to heat up takeout. There are big counters, actual cupboard space, and everything you'd want if you cook for real—full size fridge, oven, even a proper dishwasher and microwave, and a neat little utility area that keeps the laundry out of sight. Sometimes I see kitchens that look pretty but would make you order dinner every night. Not here.
In the living room, the windows just go all the way up and all the way across. It is kind of wild. The Marina and the city seem to wrap around you, and you get this almost 180 degree view out over the water and those famous Dubai towers. I stood by the glass for a while and watched the boats drift past, and honestly you almost want to keep the curtains open all the time. Then you can just open the sliding door and step outside onto a private balcony that kind of nudges itself around the apartment. That means you have the indoors and outdoors at the same time, and I feel like morning coffee on that balcony would set the tone for the whole day. Or maybe you just want to sit outside in the evening, watch the city lights, hear the faint sound of water. You even get these little beach glimpses between the buildings.
When it comes to bedrooms, both have their own bathrooms so there is no awkward sharing. For anyone who likes privacy, that's actually really underrated. The windows let in a lot of gentle morning sun and cut out city noise pretty well. Built in closets handle a lot of storage so you do not have to box yourself in with extra wardrobes. One bedroom even has its own little balcony facing the Marina as well, and it is easy to picture that as your reading corner or late night escape spot. The second bedroom feels peaceful, with just enough sound from the city below to remind you you are really in Dubai but none of the chaos.
Now, this apartment used to have a study room, which has been totally changed up into a walk-in closet with a big glass door. It is a little thing but it makes picking your clothes every morning feel like a mini event.
Living in Marinascape Tower, you get access to a seriously good gym. I have seen people treating it like their regular after work spot and honestly, it feels more like a club than a gym. The pool is massive for Dubai standards and it stays sunny into the late afternoon. Makes for lazy weekends or just a quick swim in the evening if you are that kind of person. There is a kids play area too where you sometimes see families stacked up with scooters and toys. Security is on call all day and night. It is the kind of place where you might forget to lock your door once and not worry.
Plus, and this is a lifesaver, there is a Carrefour market right at the base of the building. Midnight snacks, last minute breakfast eggs, or picking up laundry detergent on your way in—everything is a few steps away. Living in Dubai Marina means you are surrounded by restaurants that actually get busy, laid back cafes where people seem to be working on novels, and even a few shops that stay open surprisingly late. The marina walk downstairs always has people jogging or just sitting out. You kind of become part of the buzz without having to go far.
Honestly, no words or photos really tell you how this apartment feels. The only way it really makes sense is to come have a look.
