Marina Arcade Tower, Dubai Marina
Some places just feel different as soon as you open the door. This two bedroom apartment at Marina Arcade Tower actually slowed me down a bit when I first walked in. There is a quiet up here on the tenth floor that is hard to find in most of Dubai Marina and, honestly, sometimes you can stand by those big windows and just watch city life go by below and forget you are living right in the middle of everything.
So yes, location is great. The building itself sits just around the corner from the tram and metro, so if you ever want to hop over to Bluewaters or buzz into the city, it is really simple. And if you just want to head out for a coffee or a good bite, Dubai Marina Walk is really close. It is one of those neighborhoods where you might forget to drive your car for a week. Everything is kind of on your doorstep here—from cafes and gyms to stores selling fresh flowers and local groceries and once in a while you notice kids biking along the marina in the evenings, which just gives the area a friendly feel.
Back in the apartment, there is a real sense of space. Two decent bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes that actually have proper hanging room—it is not just for show. The bathrooms are clean and modern, and having that second and a half bath just makes it a lot easier when guests come over, no one has to queue for a shower. The mornings feel easy here, sunlight just spills in, especially if you are standing on the balcony with your first coffee. The balcony looks right out toward Damac Heights and Marina Gate so you get that signature Dubai skyline, all those bold glass towers. In the evenings you can see the lights come on across the city and it feels pretty special.
The kitchen is actually somewhere you can cook a good meal. I know sometimes in Dubai kitchens get tucked away or hardly used, but this one is fitted with good appliances and the counter is big enough to roll out dough or set up for a proper brunch—plus you can look out to the view even while cooking, which is rare. I kept picturing a quiet breakfast here, or friends sitting around while you fry eggs. The living area flows right off the kitchen so it feels all connected and open, not boxed in at all.
Marina Arcade Tower itself is easy to live in. The staff on the concierge desk are usually pretty friendly, and you never have to wait for the lift long, even at busy times. There is a gym that is actually used by residents, for both men and women, plus a jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms for when you need to reset a bit after work. Sometimes you will see families heading into the play area downstairs, and there is a private garden if you want a quiet spot. The billiards and table tennis room get some real use too, especially on weekends. And, honestly, with underground parking for your car, you never really worry about space or safety.
Just to mention, the building is surrounded by some of the marina's most iconic towers, but this place still feels peaceful up here. The higher up you go the more you feel like you have your own part of the skyline. And I have noticed that a lot of new people moving to Dubai Marina now, especially to Marina Arcade Tower, are looking for somewhere that feels both modern and lived in, not just another glass box.
