LIV Residence, Dubai Marina
Some places have a certain feeling even before you have properly stepped in. I still remember the first time I opened the door to this two bedroom apartment in LIV Residence and just stood for a minute to let it sink in. There is sunlight playing off the wooden floors. You look straight through the living area toward the windows and there is the marina, water moving quietly with the boats and the skyline stretching off beyond Palm Jumeirah. It is peaceful in a way that feels a bit rare now in Dubai. Honestly, there is so much going on right outside, but in here, you just get that sense of calm.
The space itself is different to the usual. You get an open living and dining setup, but the kitchen is tucked away enough that if you actually want to cook, you can make a bit of a mess and not worry. I walked over and checked out the kitchen and it is kitted out properly, not just for show. You get European appliances, plenty of storage, and those quartz counters just feel solid under your hands. If you do like to cook, or at least have the option, you will feel at home here.
What I liked most, though, was how the rooms connect. The bedrooms draw you in from the main living area. Both are en suite, so you get privacy if people visit, or if you need to get ready quickly, you are not running across the flat. The master bedroom has a balcony that wraps across toward the living room, so you actually get that morning light everywhere. I stood out there for a minute and just watched people walking by below and the sound of the water carries up nicely. The other bedroom has its own balcony too, so everyone gets their own space to step out with coffee or just get some air.
There is a maid's room with its own bathroom that some people might use as a study or just extra storage. The finishes are sensible, nothing over the top, just real timber floors that are easy to keep clean, and those porcelain tiles that feel cool underfoot when you get up in the morning.
The building itself is a big part of the draw here. LIV Residence feels more relaxed than some other towers. You come into the lobby and it does not try too hard. If you have kids, the play area is actually used by real families. There is a landscaped garden where a few people sit with coffee or on their phones in the evenings. And honestly, that infinity pool is something else. You get right up to the edge and just look out, sometimes forgetting you are in a city at all. There is a modern gym that is never too crowded and on the weekends people are just as likely to do yoga on the grass or head out for a run along the waterfront.
You walk down to the podium level and there are shops and little cafes, so you are never far from a place to grab breakfast or even just a cold drink. Sometimes you see people heading out for dinner to the rest of Dubai Marina, or you can take a walk to JBR if you want a bit of sand and sea. It is a good neighbourhood if you like to get outside. Evenings are full of joggers, people walking dogs, a few kids still trying to get in a bit more time at the playground. Life just moves at its own pace here.
I think the main thing about this two-bedroom at LIV Residence is how easy it feels. The apartment makes sense, you have got that proper view, and everything you need is downstairs or nearby. The only way to really know, though, is to come and stand here for yourself. If you want to walk through it, or just chat, I am always around. Here at LuxuryProperty dot com, we try to make your move as calm as possible. Just reach out anytime if you want to know more.
