Port de La Mer, La Mer, Jumeirah
Some places just have that holiday vibe but in a way that actually feels livable, you know What got me with this two bedroom apartment in Port de La Mer was the air. You step in and right away, full stretch views hit you, and honestly, I caught myself drifting for a moment. It is almost too easy to imagine what a normal Saturday here might look like. Slow mornings with your coffee on that balcony because the thing is unusually big even compared to most places in Jumeirah. I stood there and could picture someone reading while the city just hums quietly in the background or friends dropping by for lunch. If you are someone who likes a bit of outdoor space with your apartment, this one just gets it right.
Inside it is not stuffy at all. You have this open living and dining area so if you are into hosting or honestly just stretching out an old rug for movie night, it all works. The kitchen has a half wall that keeps things easy but not cut off, with a neat counter for chatting over dinner or if you are like me, some late night snacks. Sometimes kitchens in new apartments feelโฆa bit too pretty to use but here you could actually chop up something and just listen to your own playlist drifting in from the next room. The bedrooms have a gentle feel about them, nothing too fussy but you do get the sense that you will sleep pretty well here. The master is en suite with a walk in closet big enough that you might lose a shoe or two in there. You will notice the windows are generous everywhere so there is this nice, real connection with the marina outside. Even the second bedroom could work as a home office if that is your vibe. It is quiet and easy to focus in.
The thing with Port de La Mer is that it does not exactly feel like Dubai. I know that sounds odd but wander around and you get what I mean. There are always people lingering at the cafes downstairs especially during the cooler months. Sometimes you will catch kids zigzagging on bikes or families strolling to the beach with towels and snacks. You have all the practical stuff nearby too. The coffee shops feel authentic not all chains. Everyday groceries are not a hassle either with a little grocer tucked around the corner. If you need to nip into town or the city centre, the main road is just a couple of minutes from the door so even though you are at the edge of the water it never feels cut off.
One thing to point out is the balcony access. Pretty much every main room gets onto it directly so you can spill outside for barbecue nights or just to watch the sunset over the panoramic marina view. And let us not skip the boardwalk. You can run in the mornings if that is your thing or just wander all the way to the waterpark or the private beach. The days can fill up without meaning to. I have watched people set up a little folding chair and read for hours without noticing the time.
There is also a quiet buzz in the evenings. The marina lights up, boats come in with bits of music carrying over the water and from your apartment you get the best of both worlds. Close to the community but still incredibly private. The sense of calm is not something every Dubai apartment nails but here you do feel it just walking in. You will not even think much about your car but if you need it undercover parking is naturally sorted.
So if you have been waiting for something in Jumeirah that feels both coastal and proper home, this two bedroom in La Mer is really worth a look. The only way to see if it feels right is to come by yourself. Any questions or if you just want to wander through and daydream a bit, reach out whenever. At LuxuryProperty.com we just want your next move to feel easy and honestly pretty enjoyable too.
