Island Park 1, Dubai Creek Harbour
Some places just feel different the second you step inside and I think this two bedroom apartment in Island Park 1 at Dubai Creek Harbour is one of those. When I walked in, I noticed how the light just pours through every window. I found myself just stopping for a second near the huge glass panels, watching the city in the distance and the water below. There is something peaceful about this part of Dubai and honestly, it does not always feel like you are in one of the busiest cities in the world.
Island Park 1 sits right in the heart of Dubai Creek Harbour, so you really get the best of both worlds. There are days here when you might walk out and just hear the birds from Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, which is crazy considering that you are only a short drive from Downtown Dubai. When you look out from the floor to ceiling windows you can catch incredible views not just of the Creek, but you can spot the Burj Khalifa against the skyline. It is the sort of view people come to Dubai for, and you actually get to live with it every day.
The apartment itself feels open and easy. The living and dining area blend together, so you could imagine hosting some friends over or just crashing on the sofa after a long day. The kitchen is not hidden away, but kind of flows in with everything else. It is the kind of kitchen where you honestly might cook a real meal, not just heat something in the microwave. It feels inviting, even if you just make coffee in the morning before stepping out.
Bedrooms here are a good size and you do not get that cramped feeling. You will notice that both rooms get a lot of light but there are blackout curtains for those lazy mornings when you want to sleep in. The ceiling height makes a difference. You almost do not notice it until you move in but it just gives everything a bit of space to breathe. Bathrooms are modern, nothing fussy, nice clean lines and enough space to get ready without knocking elbows.
When you live at Island Park 1, you get access to some really handy amenities. There is a pool outside where you can see kids splashing around sometimes or just swim a few quiet laps in the morning. The fitness center is the kind you actually want to use, not just one for show with broken machines. People do work out here so you will not feel odd showing up in your gym clothes. For days when you just want to take it easy, there are some nice places just to sit and hang out. Sometimes you will see someone reading, sometimes people meeting up for coffee. There is a little retail promenade that lets you grab something quick if you forgot milk or need fresh bread. Restaurants and cafes are spread across the area and you will find yourself with more choices than you probably expected. It is also nice knowing there are good schools and sports facilities nearby along with Central Park. On evenings you might take a stroll along the boardwalk along the marina and catch the sunset. You do get the sense of an actual neighbourhood here, which honestly is hard to find around the city sometimes.
I like that getting around is easy here. Downtown Dubai, DIFC, parts of Old Dubai, they are all within comfortable reach. Still, most of the time, you may just want to enjoy the area itself. Once in a while you will notice you have not checked your phone for hours, which does not happen everywhere. These little things make a place feel like home.
If you think this feels like a place you could picture yourself in, the best way is always to come and see it for real. I am happy to show you around, answer your questions or just chat about the neighbourhood if you want. At LuxuryProperty.com, we always try to make your next move feel comfortable, no rush. Whenever you are ready, come take a look and see if this apartment fits what you are looking for.
