There are days here when you might walk out and just hear the birds from Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, which is crazy considering that you are only a short drive from Downtown Dubai. When you look out from the floor to ceiling windows you can catch incredible views not just of the Creek, but you can spot the Burj Khalifa against the skyline. It is the sort of view people come to Dubai for, and you actually get to live with it every day.

You do get the sense of an actual neighbourhood here, which honestly is hard to find around the city sometimes.

I like that getting around is easy here. Downtown Dubai, DIFC, parts of Old Dubai, they are all within comfortable reach. Still, most of the time, you may just want to enjoy the area itself. Once in a while you will notice you have not checked your phone for hours, which does not happen everywhere. These little things make a place feel like home.
