You do not always get this feeling in the city. There is something about the calm here. Even though you are right up close to the best of Downtown Dubai, it somehow feels peaceful. Sometimes you stand by the window and the noise just fades away and you find yourself taking a breath without really meaning to. The view catches you every time too. From here, you are looking right out at Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountains. Honestly, even after seeing these landmarks a hundred times, there is something special about having them as part of your own everyday life. You also get to see the Dubai Canal spread out below you, which changes with the light as the day goes by. It is easy to stand here just watching the water for a bit and forget about checking your phone.
