Four Seasons Private Residences, Sharm El Sheikh
Some places just have that “holiday” kind of feeling the second you open the door. I got that as soon as I stepped into this two bedroom apartment at the Four Seasons Private Residences in Sharm el Sheikh. You can almost smell a hint of sea air before you even reach the terrace. There is something calming about this space. It might be the soft daylight that slides right across the floors or maybe it is these easy coastal colors everywhere you look. Pale sand and gentle pastels. It is the sort of vibe that makes you feel like time runs a little slower and stress isn't even invited.
What I noticed first way before checking anything else was just how the living area felt. It is open but not those huge echoey types that feel too empty. You get enough space for everyone to relax without shouting across the room. There are big windows so light is always good in here. I almost forgot I had emails to answer because I just wanted to sit on the couch and look out for a bit. Something about the quiet here feels restful. Push open the terrace doors and you get this view of palm trees and that wide open sky, little lines of the Red Sea in the distance. If you stand there long enough you spot families heading out for the day, sometimes kids racing off for ice cream or grown ups walking over to their morning coffee spot in the resort.
The kitchen is actually the sort of kitchen where people cook real food. So many places try to do modern kitchens but you just end up never using them. This one is different. There is a breakfast counter that makes you want to pull up a chair and reach for your coffee. Appliances are tidy and you never feel like you are standing in a shop window full of machines. It feels like a space where you could have simple mornings with just a few people around. From here it kind of rolls over into the dining area without walls getting in the way so dinner with friends or even just an easy night in all feels relaxed. You never need to fuss.
There are two bedrooms so perfect for a small family or friends wanting to share. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which honestly makes mornings so much easier. No lines or people knocking on the door. The master bedroom has another little secret terrace of its own that feels almost hidden. I just pictured myself in the evenings stepping out there with a cold drink and letting the day wind down while the sky goes soft above the palm trees. The storage is better than most places by the sea so you never need to hunt for closet space. The second bedroom is no less comfortable and actually catches lovely morning light. Works well if you have guests for a weekend or if the kids like their own space.
What you really get living here though is more than just the four walls. The Four Seasons Private Residences puts you right in the heart of one of Sharm el Sheikh's loveliest communities. Downstairs are swimming pools you actually want to use. I saw a few people who seemed to have let their phones go for the day and just enjoy the water. The beach is a short walk so sand between your toes is not just a holiday luxury but something you can do every day. The spa here made me pause for a second when I walked in because it is that quiet. Kind of makes your shoulders relax just thinking about it. If you like to keep active there is a gym and tennis courts or just take a walk through the gardens where you hear birds in the mornings. For food it is honestly easy. The Village has all sorts of options from real Egyptian coffee to elegant evening spots. For anyone who loves diving you will find out people actually travel from all over just for the dive center right in the resort.
One of the nicest things is how everything feels looked after. Housekeeping melts in and out without any bother. Tech and maintenance is sorted. Everyone you meet seems to remember you and the concierge always feels friendly instead of formal.
