Grand Bleu Tower 1, Emaar Beachfront, Dubai Harbour
Some homes just have a little spark as soon as you walk in and this two bedroom apartment at Grand Bleu Tower on Emaar Beachfront really does exactly that. Maybe it is the way the light slips in through huge windows or maybe it is the touch of Elie Saab everywhere you look. Either way you can just sort of imagine yourself settling in before you even get to the living room.
I spent a moment near the entry and you instantly feel how the space opens up. The living and dining area never feels boxed in and there is actual space to move around. The kitchen here is open plan and it feels like somewhere you might actually cook dinner together not just heat a takeaway. The finishes have that touch that is a little more than the ordinary. I even saw my own reflection in the cabinetry for a second while walking through and could not help but smile. It gives off that bit of hotel style without being cold at all.
One thing that stands out is the fact that you get not just one but two balconies. So you find yourself wandering from room to room and out to that fresh air. Both big bedrooms open straight out to the balcony too which is a rare thing. Sometimes you get a balcony that only leads from the living room but here you wake up and step straight out and catch that view of Dubai Harbour and the Arabian Sea first thing each morning. I actually took my time just gazing out and watching the yachts below for a bit. Such a peaceful spot.
The bedrooms themselves are real bedrooms not just an afterthought. There is proper space for wardrobes and a full length mirror or two. The en suite bathrooms have a quiet calm to them. Sometimes you walk in and actually want to stay for an extra minute. The light is just right in the morning.
Emaar Beachfront itself is growing fast into a proper neighbourhood. The Grand Bleu Tower stands out but not in a flashy way. Downstairs gives you this open air pool deck that overlooks the Palm and you get that feeling of being away from the city just enough to breathe but still close enough that you are actually part of Dubai Harbour. The fitness centre is fully set up so you do not have to wait on anything. There is a plaza with small cafes and restaurants if you are not in the mood to cook. I even heard some live music drifting up one evening. The coffee shop is never far and you see neighbours stopping in together pretty often.
The best part for anyone who wants their own space is the private beach that is just for residents. That means your morning walk turns into a nice ritual. There are two cruise terminals nearby so sometimes you see impressive ships pulling in. A couple of new resorts are opening soon too which just means life gets easier if you like a bit of resort living close by.
The talk around Emaar Beachfront is also about the Dubai Grand Prix that will be happening right on these streets once the area is finished. Hard to imagine but one day you might watch the race from your own balcony. Still, things do not feel noisy or busy here. I noticed kids biking in the evenings and families walking back from the water at sunset.
Honestly this corner apartment does not try too hard. It just works. Maybe it is the layout or maybe it is the views but you almost forget to check your phone as you pass along the balcony. If you want something that is actually peaceful but right on the Dubai Harbour and close to all the action of Emaar Beachfront you could do a lot worse than this spot.
The only way you will really know if it fits is to drop by and take a look for yourself. Questions are always welcome or come walk through at your own pace. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to make things personal and relaxed. Your next move really should feel like that too.
