Sometimes a place just pulls you in before you even realize it and that sort of happened to me the first time I walked into this two bedroom apartment at Boulevard Crescent in Downtown Dubai. You know that buzzy feeling you get in the city sometimes when you are right in the middle of all the best bits but you can still feel kind of at home too. This apartment captures that perfectly. You are on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard so honestly the coffee shop is never far. There is always something happening but everything still feels easy when you step inside.

So you come in and you immediately get these long views from the floor to ceiling windows. I just stood there for a little bit watching the city moving out there and if you lean in you can spot the Burj Khalifa and even the fountains on a good day. It is the sort of place where you almost forget your phone for a second because the view does that much work. The inside is finished in soft muted colors which really calms things down after you have been out in the city all day. Even though it is Downtown Dubai it does not feel too sharp or cold. Honestly I thought it might but it just feels inviting.

This apartment is spread across a nice open layout where the living area flows right into what I would call a proper kitchen. Not just a pretty showpiece. You can actually imagine making breakfast here or having a few friends over. The counters are roomy and the cupboards are all sort of out of the way so you don't feel crowded. Down the hall you will find both bedrooms. The main bedroom gets actual light in the morning which for me is a game changer. Sometimes apartments in the city are dark or boxy but not here. The wardrobes are bigger than you would expect. The bathroom is not spa like but it is smart and everything looks clean and fresh. No strange corners or awkward layouts.

The whole building is done in a kind of Art Deco vibe but nothing over the top. That is what makes Boulevard Crescent stand out to me. It looks grand from the outside sure and you have these two towers joined by a really cool podium but it is not a place where people are looking at you the whole time. You can enjoy the outdoor pool whenever and most mornings I see a couple people doing laps. There is a gym of course and it is actually worth a visit because it feels less like a gym in a box and more spacious with lots of glass everywhere so you can still see the skyline while you are working out. If you have kids or friends with kids that come by you will notice there is a play area. People really use it and sometimes you catch a bit of laughter drifting up especially just before sunset. There is even some smart outdoor seating and places you can just bring your laptop if you want a change from the living room.

And living here means Dubai Mall is only a stroll away. You just wander down the boulevard and you are at some of the best restaurants and there is Dubai Opera too if you are up for a show in the evening. Sometimes all you do is walk out for a coffee and just watch the luxury cars rolling past. Life feels busy but in a good way.

I think the best way to really get what this two bedroom Downtown Dubai apartment is like is to see it for yourself. Pictures can only do so much.
