Burj Views, Downtown Dubai
There is a feeling you get when you walk into a place and all you want to do is pause for a second and look around. That is exactly what happened when I stepped into this two bedroom apartment at Burj Views Tower B in Downtown Dubai. Sometimes homes that say they have Downtown views are a bit generous about it but here you get the real thing. I ended up standing by the living room window for longer than I meant to just looking out. You see the city waking up in the morning and then winding down in the evenings with those lights that make Downtown Dubai so famous.
Inside, the space is bigger than you'd guess from the photos. You have one thousand four hundred and sixty seven square feet all to yourself. The living area is open but still feels cosy. I can actually picture someone coming home after work and just dropping onto the sofa with a cup of tea and looking out over the balcony. Oh and that balcony is not just a tiny spot for a chair. You can really sit there and breathe in some fresh air or just people watch. Sometimes I think it's the small details like that which make an apartment feel like home.
The kitchen is fully fitted and whoever put it together has actually thought about how people cook. There's room for prepping real meals if you're into that or if you are more of the quick breakfast type it works for that too. Plus the built in wardrobes in the bedrooms are proper storage not just some afterthought. These are the kinds of things you notice after seeing a few apartments. The bedrooms have big floor to ceiling windows so you wake up to sunlight slipping in and sometimes even the sound of city life below if you leave the windows cracked.
Living at Burj Views means you're in the heart of Downtown Dubai and honestly that makes day to day life kind of easy. Everything you need is pretty much around the corner. The Burj Khalifa is so close it almost feels like you can touch it on a clear day. You have the Dubai Mall right there too. That means weekends can mean anything from shopping to just walking around people watching or heading to the Dubai Opera for something different. One thing I liked is how you sometimes see families out with kids on bikes or people just out with their dogs in the little bits of green landscaping that break up the city.
Amenities here are what people look for these days. There is a swimming pool that gets a good bit of afternoon sun and a gym that has enough equipment without feeling crowded. You'll find a steam room if you want to relax after work and even a games room if that's your thing. There's a business centre which some people actually use for work from home days. Security is twenty four seven so you always feel safe coming in late or early. High speed lifts mean you are never waiting around for long. I think it says something about the building that you see people coming back here year after year.
There are cafes and restaurants dotted around so a coffee run never takes long and if you want something fancier there are those five star hotels and their restaurants right in the neighbourhood. Grocery shops and pharmacies are close so errands do not feel like a mission. The whole area is popular with young professionals and small families because you just have everything close. Even if you do not want to drive you can walk to a lot of places.
You can read every description out there and still not quite know if this is the one. The only way to find out is to walk through it yourself and see if it feels like home. Reach out if you want to have a look or just have questions. At LuxuryProperty.com we are pretty relaxed and just want things to feel simple for you. Sometimes seeing a place in person is all you need.
