Building 20, City Walk
Some homes sort of invite you to slow down as soon as you walk in. That is how it felt to me inside this two bedroom apartment in Building 20 at City Walk. The entry pulls you into a wide open living room with so much sun filtering through the big windows, you hardly want to switch the lights on at all. I ended up just standing there for a while and watching the city move outside. You get that sense right from the start that this is a place where you could actually relax after work or have friends over without having to tidy up every corner. The whole place is just easy going and open.
Head around the corner and you will see the kitchen. What I liked is it does not feel separated from everything else or too precious to use. You could really make anything in here, pots and pans out, a friend at the counter chatting along. All the fittings are in place but not in your face about it. Honestly, it just feels like a spot where someone actually cooks and lives, not just poses for a fancy photoshoot.
The main bedroom is kind of its own retreat. I noticed the big window right away and how it changes the feeling in here, especially early in the morning. You can almost wake up without an alarm. And then there is the bathroom attached, which is more than just practical. It has a walk in shower that gives you room to move, plus a tub for when you feel like a little soak. Then you have got all your fittings close by, with space on the basin for actual toiletries that people use every day. The closets are sorted too, so you are not struggling for storage or thinking about what goes where. The second bedroom carries over that same feeling, maybe a bit less formal, and it looks out to the same view so nobody is stuck with a back alley outlook.
There is a study as well, not just a token space with a desk squeezed in somewhere. If you want to get work done at home or maybe just have a spot for your hobbies, this room is an actual option. Nice to have that, especially around here where things can get busy outside.
When you wander out to the balcony, things shift a little again. The view is something else, with the Downtown Dubai skyline front and center, and Burj Khalifa just there. I watched for a while as the sunset changed the colors across the city. If you like being outside, or just want some air without leaving your place, this is your spot. Inside again, the windows along the living area give you that same light and even on a weekend morning it feels good to open up the glass and let the air flow through.
Everyone in the building has access to the main pool which is longer than usual, so you can actually swim some laps if you want. Plus there is a proper gym. You might run into neighbors there, but usually it is pretty relaxed and never overly crowded. People sometimes bring their kids to splash in the shallow end or grab a coffee nearby after their workout.
City Walk itself is one of those neighborhoods that never really gets boring. There are cafes and restaurants lining the sidewalks where you see people out most evenings. No shortage of places for a quiet bite or somewhere new to try. The shops are not just big chains but smaller boutiques that keep things interesting. You have got a cinema close and The Green Planet is just a stroll away. On weekends you see families out, people riding bikes or walking their dogs. Downtown Dubai and the beaches are only a short drive, so you do not have to choose between city life and getting away from it all.
It is always good to see first hand if a place fits. If you want to walk through this City Walk apartment or just ask a few questions, feel free to get in touch any time. We are here to help you find something that really works. At LuxuryProperty.com, we know the move matters as much as the home itself.
