Sometimes you walk in and the place just feels welcoming. That is how it is with this two bedroom apartment in BLVD Heights Tower 2 in Downtown Dubai. Standing here you get this real sense that life would slow down just a bit. The entry opens into a foyer that is much brighter than most I have seen lately and you just kind of want to linger for a second. Right off to the left, you will find a semi open kitchen and it is set up well enough that cooking feels easy. There is plenty of cabinet space and honestly if you are someone who actually enjoys making food you will feel good here. The guest bathroom is handy for friends or family popping by and you do have that study room on the right which could easily turn into your work from home corner or somewhere quiet to read if you want a break from the rest of the space.

The living room feels airy with all the floor to ceiling windows pulled in that Downtown Dubai sunlight. I stood by them for a while and the views pull you in quickly. Even while sitting in the evening you can see the city sparkle. You will notice straight away that this part of BLVD Heights Tower 2 is right in the heart of Downtown Dubai so the neighborhood buzz is always nearby but up here it just feels calm. You can walk down to Dubai Mall if you feel like shopping or honestly just go for a walk along Downtown Boulevard. The best coffee shops are just around the corner and every now and then you can watch families stroll by or kids on scooters heading home after school.

There are two bedrooms here and both are quiet which you do not always get in places right downtown. Both rooms bring in so much light during the day and there is no trouble fitting bigger beds or extra storage. The built in wardrobes are a nice touch. The bathrooms are modern and you get those ‘his and hers' sinks that are actually pretty convenient. You will also find a jacuzzi, which is great for winding down in the evenings after work or on lazy weekend mornings. Having en suite bathrooms in both bedrooms really makes it feel more private too.

One detail I really do like is the balcony. It wraps around both bedrooms so you can step out in the morning with your coffee and just catch the sun come up over Downtown Boulevard. Sometimes if you sit out at the right time you might even get a little breeze off the water. I have seen people set up a couple of chairs and even some plants out here and use it almost like another little living area. There is something about starting or ending the day here that just lets you settle in a bit.

BLVD Heights Tower 2 comes with those top amenities you would hope for. You get access to two pools which are rarely ever crowded and the gyms are actually kitted out for real workouts not just for show. There is a kids play area where you will sometimes hear laughter drifting up in the afternoons. The lobby itself feels finished and refined but not at all stuffy. You have shops and salons at your doorstep and there really is a convenience to having a supermarket close that you only really appreciate once you have it.

Living in Downtown Dubai means you are close to all the essentials but it never feels too busy when you are up in this apartment. You might find yourself heading down to a café with a good book in the mornings or just people watching on the boulevard. Sometimes you almost forget your phone when you are looking out at the views here.
