Atlantis The Royal Residences, Palm Jumeirah
Some places really make you slow down as soon as you walk in and this two bedroom apartment at Atlantis The Royal Residences on Palm Jumeirah is one of those. I remember just stepping inside and almost forgetting about my phone. There is this fresh feeling here because no one has ever lived in it yet so it still has that new home scent mixed in with a kind of calm that is hard to describe until you actually experience it. This is a real two bedroom home at Atlantis The Royal Residences and honestly it feels proper from the first step. You start in this open space and you can see the kitchen straight away. It just flows right into the living area and has these super high windows that bring in a crazy amount of sunlight. I hung around a while by the window and you can actually see the landscaped gardens below plus there are these wide views of the Palm and the Dubai skyline. It is easy to forget exactly how close you are to everything down there like the coffee shops or that walk along the Crescent where you sometimes see people out for a morning run or kids biking in the evenings.
Inside is where it gets pretty interesting. Every detail is sorted out. Like you will notice the kitchen is fitted out properly with Gaggenau appliances and it is not just for looks. This is the sort of spot you would actually want to make breakfast in with fresh pastries from the Atlantis bakery or try out new recipes with vegetables you picked up from Nakheel Mall. I liked the open plan layout. It is ideal if you just want to lay out some snacks and have a few friends over to watch the sunset or maybe just wind down after a day at the office with nothing but music on in the background. Speaking of music the whole place comes with a Bang and Olufsen audio visual setup so the sound quality is something else entirely. Sometimes you just hear a song and it fills the whole space.
The interiors have this curated feeling to them. Not overdone but every piece is there for a reason. There is real Italian marble under your feet in places so it keeps cool even in summer. The feature wall uses Omexco wallpaper which gives it texture and the dining area has this Belcor chandelier that gives off a soft glow at dinner time. I have seen a lot of staged places but this is different. You can imagine living here easily especially with the bespoke furniture from Fazzini Cassina and Rugiano. Even the beds are special Italian pieces from Bruno Zampa which just means you could actually fall asleep in them instead of tossing and turning on something generic.
The bedrooms offer privacy for each person. Each is a proper suite with its own walk in wardrobe and enough space to lay out your things and not feel cramped. The bathrooms feel like something out of a resort. I stood there for a few minutes just running my hand along the marble and honestly it feels solid as well as polished.
What surprised me was the balcony space. It is more than a little spot for a chair. There is proper Minotti furniture out there already and you can just imagine sitting outside on a weekend with a coffee and the whole city stretched out in front of you. It just feels easy. That is a theme in this apartment actually. Everything is smooth and simple and works as it should.
And even though you are inside Atlantis The Royal Residences you still get to be a part of Palm Jumeirah. Groceries are not far. Sometimes you see boats out on the water in the afternoons. Life feels both quiet and connected here.
Honestly the only real way to see if it fits is to walk through in person. You will know what I mean straight away. If you have questions or just want to come by and wander for a bit reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we like to help you find the place that just feels right for you.
