Al Sahab 2, Al Sahab, Dubai Marina
Some places just seem to welcome you in a different way as soon as you walk through the door. That is exactly how it felt stepping into this two bedroom apartment high up at Al Sahab in Dubai Marina. I mean that quite literally. The air feels a bit lighter and you can actually look down over the marina and the city at the same time because you are up on a corner. Standing on the balcony with that wide view you almost want to grab your phone and take a hundred pictures but after a while you just forget about taking photos because you are busy just breathing it in.
Inside, the space does not try too hard. It is spread out across one thousand three hundred and fifty one square feet but it never feels cold or empty. Both bedrooms feel properly tucked away and especially private, with their own bathrooms that are attached. The floor to ceiling windows honestly make such a difference. Even when you are in bed or just moving around, you can watch the city move outside or see a bit of the water from the marina. In the mornings, the light fills up the whole apartment and that is something you cannot always find in every Dubai Marina property.
The living area is the heart of it all. What I really liked here is that it is all open but not in a way that makes you think you will be fighting for space every time someone is cooking or watching TV. The kitchen sort of spills gently into the living and dining area so it feels like the kind of place where friends might be sitting at the counter chatting while you finish up a meal. It is easy to imagine real cooking going on here night after night. Not just heat and eat kind of food but something you make and share. The floors are easy to clean so you never worry about a bit of mess, and the shapes of the rooms just make sense. No weird corners or wasted meters.
And the best thing is this spot in Al Sahab means you can actually walk down to Marina Walk in a few minutes. No need to get in a car. If you feel like the beach you are at JBR in maybe three minutes on foot depending if you stop for a coffee along the way. You see people running and walking in the mornings and honestly it feels a bit different from the rest of Dubai Marina. Sometimes families are out by the water or you will see someone with their dog just enjoying the sunset. The community itself is pretty calm especially for this part of the city.
Inside the tower you have all the things you expect but a few surprises too. There is a big swimming pool that gets great sun most afternoons and a gym that actually has enough space so you do not have to wait for a treadmill. The squash court means you will see a few neighbors getting a little competitive. I noticed that quite a few people here seem to know each other so it is not the kind of building where everyone just disappears behind doors. Feels like a bit of a community.
Parking comes with the apartment. It is covered so the Dubai summer is no problem and you can always find your spot. Security is around but they do not bother you unless you need something which is actually nice.
Dubai Marina is always buzzing but up here it feels just a touch more peaceful. You get all the benefits of city living with a little bit of calm and the privacy that comes with being up high on a corner. I could see this working for someone who wants a real home in a really good spot. Not just an address but a place where everyday life feels easy. Sometimes that is hard to find.
The best way to get a sense for it is to come and just feel it for yourself. If there is anything you want to know or you want to walk through the place when you have time, I am happy to help. At LuxuryProperty.com the idea is to make your search feel as comfortable as possible.
