2 Bedroom Apartment in 29 Burj Boulevard, Downtown Dubai

There is a feeling you get with some homes that you just cannot really put your finger on at first. This two bedroom apartment in 29 Burj Boulevard Downtown Dubai has that kind of vibe. For me it started the minute I walked through the lobby. The staff give a little nod as you pass and there is this easy energy in the air that does not feel like just another building. It feels a bit like someone really considered how people would want to live here.

When you step inside the apartment that calm kind of follows you in. Light spills in from the windows and even on a hot Dubai afternoon you get these little corners that just feel cool and quiet. The living area is open and a bit bigger than you might guess from outside. You look around and see lots of open space so you do not feel crammed next to your furniture. The sofa actually looks like something you would want to stretch out on after work. Sometimes you find these “designer” places that are so perfect you are almost afraid to sit anywhere but this is just easy.

The marble dining table has a bit of a shine to it. You can see it gets used for more than meals. I picture homework evenings or maybe a laptop morning with coffee from the little spot across the street. The kitchen really does work for real cooking too not just for heating up things. Everything feels solid. The appliances are high quality and tucked away so you do not see clutter everywhere. Plus those built in wardrobes are one of those things you do not really notice until you start living without enough storage. Here you get plenty of space for your stuff and you do not end up with clothes hanging on every chair.

So many apartments get the bathrooms wrong but here you get a little bit of hotel feeling. There is a proper bathtub you actually want to use at the end of the day. It is the kind of place where you can let the day just fade out. And you know how with some spaces you feel like you keep bumping into things Not here. The whole layout lets you move easy from one room to the next.

You are in Downtown Dubai so the world kind of comes to you. Step outside and you catch people heading off to work in the mornings then later you catch little groups out for dinner. There are always new restaurants popping up. Italian one week, then a new spot with sweet pastries the next. Art pops up around here too. Sometimes you will see a mural you have not noticed before or some kind of popup exhibit right along the boulevard. You cannot ignore how close you are to everything but somehow it never feels too busy. When I was last here the temperature controlled pool was pretty much empty and the gym was calm too. Sometimes you see kids at the play area in the evenings and a few people sitting out on benches just chatting. It is a real neighbourhood feeling but still so close to the action.

Lots of places call themselves “luxury” but in my opinion this apartment makes things feel simple and honestly that is pretty rare. You get all the touches you hope for high ceilings natural light proper storage and that kind of quiet that you notice after a busy day in the city. With a built up area of 1440 square feet you do not feel boxed in. It feels open but still cosy.
