Some houses just surprise you with how easy they feel as soon as you walk in. That was my first thought stepping into this three bedroom townhouse in Camelia at Arabian Ranches 2. You slow down a bit right at the entrance. Maybe it is the light from those big windows at the back or maybe it is just the quiet that hangs in the air around here. Sometimes I think it is a little bit of both.
Honestly this part of Arabian Ranches 2 has always been that way for me. It does not feel rushed and you see it in the way neighbors wave to each other or kids cut across the garden paths on their bikes right before dinner. This particular townhouse has got something a bit extra though. The layout works in a way where everyone has their own space if they need it but you never feel too far apart. When I stopped by recently I noticed how the living and dining area sort of spill into each other making it easy for breakfast to become lunch and then just roll right into evening. I could imagine movie nights being pretty great in here. It is just one of those spaces where you can throw some comfy pillows around and it works.
The kitchen is right next to the living area and you will actually want to cook in here. There is room for groceries from the little supermarket around the corner but also space for bigger things like mixers or maybe a baking project on the weekend. I peeked out onto the open terrace for a bit the last time I was here. Morning light comes right across it and if you are the type who likes having tea outside or maybe a barbecue with a couple of friends it just feels right. The balcony above is a nice touch too. Some people use it for potted plants others just set up a chair and get lost in a book for a while.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms none of them cramped. The main bedroom faces a bit of green so you wake up not staring at someone else's roof. There are fitted wardrobes and everything but it is really the feel of the room that makes you want to just take your shoes off and relax. Bathrooms are modern and clean with enough storage for things you actually use every day. You are not hunting for a place to put your shampoo or towels. It just feels normal and not fussy.
The community itself has a lot going on but nothing ever feels crowded. Pools are tucked away behind hedges so you never get the echo of a noisy crowd. The barbecue areas get used often especially on weekends but it is usually families or friends just having an easy time. There are kids play zones if you have little ones or visiting family and the walking paths make it easy to get your steps in without thinking about it. The fitness center is never far but sometimes the garden feels good enough for a stretch or some yoga in the early morning.
If you are into golf the course here is something you will be glad you have close by. Honestly even just sitting at the clubhouse with a coffee or watching people tee off is sort of a weekend event for some of us. Groceries are close coffee shops are easy to find and the bigger malls are not much of a drive at all.
Parking is covered and right by the door. That matters more than you think on a summer afternoon when you just want to get inside with cold drinks or groceries. Security is present but you will notice you hardly ever think about it after the first few weeks. It all just feels easy.
I think sometimes you know right away if a place fits your pace. This townhouse in Camelia is good for that.
