Sidra Villas, Dubai Hills Estate
Some homes just have a way of making you slow down the moment you walk in. This three bedroom villa in Sidra Villas at Dubai Hills Estate honestly does that for me. Maybe it is the early morning light coming through those big windows or the way the whole ground floor feels open and easy but you notice it as soon as you step inside. There is just this sense that you can breathe. You do not feel boxed in. When I first got here I came in through the side entrance not straight into the living room but off to the side and honestly that made it feel more private right from the start.
You stand there for a second and realize you are right between two really easy going spaces. One way leads into the open plan kitchen and lounge and then the other way takes you to the guest bedroom plus all the practical things like laundry storage and the space for a maid. It is kind of funny because nothing is hidden or cramped but it does not feel exposed either. The kitchen is completely new and has this clean grey look that is just really quiet on the eyes. You can tell it was meant for someone who really cooks not just heats takeaway. Plenty of room for a big double fridge and if you love to cook with friends this is a spot where nobody is fighting for counter space. I actually stood at the dining area and just took in the view outside for a while. You can imagine easy breakfasts here or working with a coffee watching the garden light shift across the walls.
And speaking of the outside that is the thing about this villa. The living room has two big sliding doors that open right into your backyard. This is a pretty large plot for Sidra Villas and it shows. There is just a lot of green space out back with plenty of room for kids to run around or just to drag a couple of chairs out and take in the evening air. If you listen you can hear birds around the little water features and honestly a few times I saw families walking the trails that connect right through the garden. The neat part is you really could almost walk to cafes or the shops once the mall trail is finished. No need to drive unless you are heading further into the city.
Upstairs is quieter. That is just how it felt to me anyway. All three bedrooms are up here and the way they are set out makes a lot of sense especially for families. Two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom which means if you have kids or guests they will probably end up hanging out together more. You also get these built in cupboards that keep things simple there is less mess and clutter just lying around. The master bedroom catches the morning light perfectly and I spent a minute just on the balcony taking in all the green. You see a bit across to the other gardens and sometimes the view is distracting enough that you almost forget to check your phone. That walk in closet and the ensuite feel luxurious but not overdone.
Parking is easy here as well. You have the garage for two cars and then still more space on the driveway so friends and family never have to scramble for a spot. It sounds like a small thing but it really makes weekends and gatherings more relaxed.
Dubai Hills Estate feels made for families but there is this young energy too. The parks are never far away and you do see kids biking in the afternoons or people out with their dogs. The coffee shop is close enough for a lazy morning and the neighborhood rarely feels crowded. Whether you want quiet time reading outside or family barbecue days this place kind of bends to your plans.
Honestly it is tough to describe exactly what makes a villa feel right for someone. This home was picked by the owner because it just made sense for longer term living and it is easy to see why. If you are curious about this three bedroom villa in Sidra Villas or Dubai Hills Estate in general the best way is to come and feel it for yourself.
