Palmera, Arabian Ranches
Some homes you just get a feeling right away. Walking into this three bedroom townhouse in Palmera over in Arabian Ranches I'll be honest it felt peaceful from the start. Maybe it was the way the sunlight came through the windows or just how quiet the street was that afternoon but right away it was the sort of space where you breathe a little easier. Arabian Ranches really is like that. Most people know about its wide leafy roads and how the gardens get watered before you even have time to think about it. When I was there you could hear birds and see the odd neighbor heading to the park or out jogging. It is a family spot without feeling overcrowded. You barely hear a car unless it is your own.
This townhouse sits in Palmera which is one of the more sought after corners in all of Arabian Ranches. There is something a bit different about the way the homes are spaced out and just how much green you get around you. I noticed even when you are inside you get these peaceful views. You can spot bits of trees and gardens from nearly every room but the balconies are where the views really get good. Each upstairs bedroom opens up to its own balcony looking out at all that greenery. Even on a warm afternoon it is the kind of place you step out with a coffee and just lean on the railing for a few minutes to watch the world go by.
Downstairs has its own calm feeling. There is a ground floor bedroom with a bathroom attached which is nice if you have guests staying over or maybe you want space for an office. Then you have the kitchen closed off from the living area but it is the sort of space that feels like you could knock up a proper home-cooked meal. It is not just for show. There is a way to open it up to the dining and lounge area too if that is more your vibe. The living and dining area just kind of spill out to the back patio and your own private bit of garden. I stood there for a bit while the sun was low and honestly you could imagine barbecues or just sitting out on a quiet morning. The garden is not massive but it feels private and usable which I think is key.
Upstairs aside from those balconies you also have a decent sized family room. I know sometimes spaces like this just get filled with random stuff but here it actually felt cozy you know the sort of place you could have a movie night or set up a play corner if you have kids around. You will also notice there is a maid's room upstairs and it has an ensuite bathroom too so it is practical if you need some extra help living here or maybe just extra storage.
Arabian Ranches always gets a lot of love because you are close to everything. The schools like JESS are a quick drive away and you never have to worry about traffic cutting you off from the main parts of Dubai. Umm Suqeim Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road both run right by. Plus there is Ranches Golf Course just down the road and Maison Mathis does a really good breakfast if you ask me. There are community pools and play areas scattered around so on weekends you do spot a lot of families out and about. There just is this balance of quiet living but nothing feels too far if you want to be social.
Parking is sorted with a two car garage covered so your cars will always stay in the shade no matter how hot the Dubai sun gets. The whole plot is bigger than you expect honestly. Over six thousand square feet so the garden wraps a bit more than you think at first glance. Feels great to have a bit of extra space and not worry about neighbors right up next to you.
I think places like this do not come up too often in Palmera and when you walk through you kind of realize why. It has that lived in ready to move kind of comfort. If you want to come feel it for yourself just let me know. The only way to know is to take a proper look.
