Island, Sa Puntassa
Some homes just have a way of slowing you down as soon as you walk in. This three bedroom penthouse at Sa Puntassa Island in Mallorca did that to me. There is something about the fresh breeze and all those bright colors from the sea and the sky right outside the windows. You can actually hear the faint sound of the waves if you stand on the rooftop terrace for a minute with your eyes closed. It feels just easy.
This penthouse is sitting right on the coast of Mallorca in the Sa Puntassa community and it offers a real Mediterranean vibe. It is only a short drive from Port dAndratx, which honestly is one of my favorite areas here because you get that mix of old harbor charm and all the comforts you need. The marina always seems to have some movement going on and the local bakery down the road sells the best fresh bread, at least in my opinion. The neighborhood is laid back but never dull. There are these beautifully landscaped walkways that lead to the property and you catch these bits of scent from lemon or apricot trees as you walk by. If you are someone who notices birdsong, it tends to be louder and just feels more alive here.
Now you could easily just stay outside all day but inside actually pulls you in too. The living room is spacious but not overwhelming, honestly it is just right. There are floor to ceiling windows that do an amazing job of keeping it light all the time, and if you are the type who likes natural light pouring in from every angle, you will like this. You could picture yourself here with a good book, sunlight all over the place, maybe just drifting off for a while because it is that calm. The kitchen is real as well, it is not just a showpiece. The marble counters are classic, storage is practical, and the setup works if you love to cook or just want to try new recipes. Mornings feel straightforward here, making coffee and looking out at the blue.
Each of the three bedrooms in this penthouse has its own en suite bathroom, so you get privacy for yourself or when family and friends come to visit. The main bedroom is special for the way the doors open right out onto the terrace. I stood there for a while and honestly you feel like the Mediterranean is part of your home. Closets are spacious, lighting in the rooms feels warm and clever. At night, you can keep things cozy without bright overhead lights making it feel harsh.
The real heart of this property though is the rooftop terrace. You get these endless views, a kind of full circle of the sea wrapping around you. The rooftop lounge is big, you can host friends up here or just have some quiet time with a book. There is a private pool on the roof, which I admit makes even someone who is not a regular swimmer consider a dip just because it is there. You also have a spot for dining up here with a barbecue area. It is pretty easy to picture dinners with friends or family, sun just setting, or you and the kids watching the stars and maybe just forgetting screens and phones for a while.
One thing that usually matters a lot is how easy or hard it is to make a place your own. There is an on site design studio here where you can pick out finishes or talk tweaks you want and it does not feel like anyone is upselling you. It is genuinely helpful.
Day to day in Sa Puntassa Island feels relaxed. You will see families at the pool sometimes or neighbors chatting by the garden. Kids riding bikes in the evening is a regular sight. There is a nice sense of privacy but you do feel like you are part of a quiet community.
Being in Mallorca close to Port dAndratx means everything is kind of close when you want it. The seafront walks, good cafes, a slow pace. That kind of luxury that is not loud, but real. You get off the plane, half an hour later you could be unpacked and barefoot on your terrace.
If you want to just feel what it is really like here or if you have questions, reach out any time. The only real way to know is to come see for yourself. At LuxuryProperty.com, we want your move to be as easy as it can be. That is what matters most to us.
