3 Bedroom Apartment in The Cove, Dubai Creek Harbour

Some homes just slow you down the moment you walk in. This three bedroom apartment at The Cove in Dubai Creek Harbour did that to me right away. Maybe it was the light pouring in through those floor to ceiling windows or maybe it was just seeing the city and the water all at once. It has this way of feeling new but warm at the same time if that makes sense. And the space really surprised me. Five thousand plus square feet is big even by Dubai standards. When you stand in the living area you can almost stretch out your arms and still have room.

You will probably notice the kitchen right away. It does not feel cold or overly slick. Honestly it is the sort of space where you could really see yourself fixing breakfast in your slippers or even ending up there late at night with a snack and your thoughts. It opens up right into the living and dining area so if you have friends over or even if it is just family night everyone can float between rooms really easily. The balcony is way more than an afterthought too. I found myself just leaning on the railing for a bit watching the shine on the water and the way the city looks as the sun goes down. Quiet moments like that just do not come often enough these days.

Bedrooms here give a good sense of peace. Each one comes with built in wardrobes so clutter does not take over and you have space for everything. The main bedroom is tucked away just enough that you feel like you have your own little corner of the apartment. Bathrooms are proper too with those clean lines and soft surfaces not flashy but definitely well considered. The kind of space where you almost want to linger in the shower a minute longer.

The thing about The Cove is it is really much more than just a building. It sort of grows into its surroundings down at the southern tip of the Island District in Dubai Creek Harbour. From some rooms you can see Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary in the distance. Sometimes you even spot birds flying over the wetlands right outside your window. The view of the Dubai skyline is worth a pause every time. And the green landscaped spaces down below are full of life. You will sometimes see families with kids running around in the evenings or people out for a jog before dinner.

Community life here just feels easy. You have all sorts of amenities close by. The gym is proper so you are not searching for another place to work out. Kids have play areas spread out so everyone finds their own space. There are family rooms for get togethers and if you are big on a morning coffee there is a cafe just a short stroll away. Actually that is something I liked about the area there is always something going on but it does not get hectic. Boutiques slip in with the cafes and restaurants. You get plenty of choice for eating out but no feeling that you are living smack in the middle of a shopping centre.

Plus the whole of Dubai Creek Harbour is growing all the time. You sort of get the best of both worlds. You can walk near the water or head into Downtown Dubai if you feel like ramping up the energy. It almost feels like there is a little something for everyone around here.
