Some places just make you pause for a second as soon as you walk in. This three bedroom apartment at The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa is like that. I ended up leaning against the huge glass windows for a while just looking out at the sea and Ain Dubai. Sunlight pours into the rooms all through the day and honestly it gives everything this soft, easy glow that puts you in a good mood even if you just came home after a long day. You get the sense that the views are never quite the same twice either. Sometimes it was yachts drifting down below. Sometimes it was just the kind of light on the water that almost makes you forget your phone inside and just watch for a minute.

The living area has this clean almost effortless kind of feel and you notice right away it is made for relaxing or maybe hanging out with friends in a way that does not feel too formal. Out on the terrace you get this amazing sweep over the shoreline plus loads of sky. I watched the light change even over just an hour or two and it keeps pulling you out there whether it is breakfast with coffee or just a quiet moment in the evening. If you love the water or just the feeling of looking out over a world that feels larger this spot probably tells you everything you need to know.

You also get direct access to a private beach which does not happen everywhere. On weekends you see families setting up by the sand and plenty of people just going for a swim or starting the day with a run. There is a spa and a gorgeous swimming pool downstairs too so honestly you might not ever want to leave. But if you do want a change there are so many restaurants and coffee shops just downstairs and along the boardwalk. Everything in JBR feels close but you still get those moments of peace high above it all.
