Park Point, Dubai Hills Estate
Some homes feel different. This three bedroom apartment in Park Point at Dubai Hills Estate caught me off guard in the nicest way. You walk in and sunlight kind of pours across the space, bouncing lightly off the floors and making you want to just stop and breathe for a second. Sometimes you look out through these wide windows and Dubai feels a bit quieter up here. You see lots of sky. There is something about that.
Dubai Hills Estate really is its own city inside the city. I took my time walking through the grounds before heading up. You hear birds. Sometimes you pass a young family heading for one of the playgrounds or people in gym gear listening to music and getting ready for a jog. Park Point itself has this calm feel and it is not the kind of busy you find in the thick of Downtown. I think it suits people who want a bit of peace without missing out on the best spots in Dubai.
This apartment has three well sized bedrooms. I always check if the bedrooms actually feel separate and private and these do. Not squeezed together. If you are keen on space for everyone or maybe you like to work from home for a day or two each week the layout makes sense. The main living room is open and the windows are just massive. I stood by one with a coffee for a while and watched shadows move across the golf course. The view never gets old. There is so much greenery everywhere which honestly is not something you get in every Dubai community. The neutral colours inside make it really easy to imagine your own style here whether you like bold or simple or a bit of both. Some apartments feel cold but this one is warm. Even with the modern finishes and the glass front style you feel comfortable just kicking off your shoes. The kitchen is real too by the way. I mean you could actually cook something nice for friends. There is space for the prep and you can leave dishes in the sink and no one sees them from the lounge.
For families there are play areas but even if you do not have kids it is just nice to see people around. You bump into neighbours at the gym or around the pool. I chatted with one of the residents who says Saturdays by the pool have this mini holiday feel. There is also a health club downstairs for quick workouts before work. And you can find cafes and shops below at street level. Sometimes you want to pop down for a coffee and not have to get properly dressed and go far. The community really is built for ease. If you drive it is only a short way along Al Khail Road to Downtown Dubai or you can be at Dubai Mall or the Burj Khalifa before your playlist ends.
Something I noticed while walking back through Dubai Hills Estate. People say good morning here. That says a lot about a neighbourhood. It just feels friendlier. And for what you get the size and the finish and the view sitting on this side of Dubai is something you have to see for yourself. The apartment stretches out to about one thousand five hundred seventy eight square feet and the light makes every part of it feel useable. Not that shut in feeling you sometimes get with apartments.
I never try to rush anyone but if you are serious about Dubai Hills or looking at Park Point for the first time it might be worth dropping by with notepad or just your phone to take a few photos. The only real way to see if it fits is to walk it yourself. And if you have questions or want to have a coffee on the balcony I am just a message away.
