One at Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah
Some homes really do make you stop for a second when you step inside. This three bedroom apartment at One at Palm Jumeirah is one of those. I remember walking in and being drawn to the windows straight away. There is something about the ocean right there and the way the Dubai Marina skyline just stretches out in front of you. The apartment sits high up so nothing blocks the view. Even standing by the living room you almost feel like you are floating above the water.
What you get here is over three thousand five hundred square feet of space that does not feel empty but never feels cramped either. You actually get this massive terrace—almost five hundred square feet all on its own. If you are like me and you enjoy a quiet morning coffee or even just want somewhere to read a book outside without the city noise, this could be one of those spaces you keep coming back to. Sometimes you catch a salty breeze off the sea that just makes you breathe a little deeper.
The main living area is something special. I noticed the light first—there are these tall windows that stretch up so high and the sunlight changes the whole place through the day. Sometimes it feels almost golden and warm and in the evening you see the lights from the marina twinkling just beyond your glass. Everything here is open but it does not feel echoey—there is a good energy. You get a sense of calm but it does not feel at all cold or showy.
The kitchen really stands out. This is not one of those spaces you just look at—it feels like somewhere you would actually want to cook. The appliances are all Gaggenau, which if you have used them before, you know what I mean. Even the layout makes sense for actual use, nothing awkwardly placed and nothing you do not need. I could see someone baking bread here or just throwing together a quick dinner after a swim. And you can keep things open or tucked away since there is a lot of built-in storage.
Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom, so no one is waiting around in the mornings or after a day out. The finishes are high end—marble and soft lighting and just enough space to get ready without feeling crowded. The closets are already built in too. You will not have to worry about finding space for your clothes or extra bags. The bedrooms all look out onto either water or skyline too, depending on which one you are in. It is actually kind of hypnotic falling asleep with that view or waking up with the first bit of sun coming over the city.
And then there are the things you probably do not think about until you need them. There is someone at the desk 24 hours a day, always. You do not really have to worry about missing parcels or letting in visitors. If you come home late, the valet is right there so you are never walking far with groceries or suitcases. If you enjoy working out, the fitness centre is never busy and—honestly—it is much easier to actually use it when it is just an elevator ride away. There is even a private beach for residents and both indoor and outdoor pools, so whatever the weather you have options. Some mornings you might catch other residents walking down barefoot to the sand before the world wakes up.
The neighbourhood itself kind of grows on you. Palm Jumeirah is lively but One at Palm always feels peaceful. You are close to those little cafes and shops at the base of the Palm but inside it is quiet and safe. You see people waving from their terraces sometimes or heading out on bikes in the late afternoon. It is that kind of place.
Anyway, I could talk about this home for ages but you really have to come see it to know if it fits you. Call or message anytime if you want a casual walk through or just have questions. At LuxuryProperty.com, it is about finding you a place that just feels right—not about selling. Let us know when you want to have a look.
