Honestly I think it is the way the light plays off the water right outside and the steady hush you get when you are this close to the sea. Before you even look at the kitchen or the bedrooms you are probably going to end up by the window for a minute just watching the boats drift by and seeing how far the skyline seems when the weather is clear. You just end up standing there without much to say.

This apartment at Oceana is actually bigger than most people expect. There are a couple of nice places right downstairs and sometimes you even forget about the world outside for a bit.

Living on Palm Jumeirah means every day can feel like you are on holiday if you let it. The skyline view here is not something you get tired of. The water feels different too depending on the time of day. Some mornings you might see paddle boarders going by. At night the lights from the city stretch out and it feels like another world compared to the main city buzz you just left behind.

People ask if the location is really as good as it sounds and honestly it is. You are not far from Nakheel Mall or restaurants for every mood. The main roads get you out pretty quickly when you need to go downtown. But there is something about coming back here that feels like leaving the world for a while.
