Burj Khalifa, Burj Khalifa Area, Downtown Dubai
There is something about walking through the Burj Khalifa that just makes you slow down for a second. This three bedroom apartment sort of sneaks up on you. You step off the elevator and you can already feel the hum of Downtown Dubai just below but inside it is really calm somehow. I remember standing there for a second looking out at the Boulevard and then further out to DIFC and it struck me how open the view feels. No distractions just the city stretching out in every direction you turn.
The layout is pretty special here and not just in a fancy way. There is a curve to it that sort of follows the shape of the building. What this means as you wander through is that every room feels like it has its own slice of the skyline. The living room and dining area sort of spill into each other which makes it feel bigger than it is on paper. You get this sense that you could actually have people round and not feel squeezed for space. The kitchen comes up right beside you with a big pass through window. Honestly this kitchen feels like one you would actually use even if it is just for making coffee in the morning before heading out. The appliances are all there and not just for show either. You can see yourself actually living here not just posing for a photo.
One thing I noticed standing in the master bedroom is the amount of storage. If you are anything like me you probably struggle to fit everything in most apartments but here it just works. There is a little sitting area by the window too and it kind of makes it easy to imagine waking up slowly with the city outside your window. Each bedroom gets its own bathroom which helps everyone have their own space. Nothing worse than fighting for the shower in the morning. There is a study right off the hallway and I know not everyone works from home but it does help to have a spot to focus or even just keep your stuff tucked away when you have friends over. I have to mention the maid's room too because sometimes that extra space can really come in handy. You could use it for storage or even as an extra spot for guests if you needed.
Inside you get lots of warm wood and touches of metal that catch the evening light just right. It never feels cold or too modern for its own good. It just feels like Dubai really. The light in here is something I would come back for and honestly it just makes it comfortable. Not intimidating. Not overdone.
The building itself is something you probably know a bit about if you are looking at Burj Khalifa apartments for rent. And you will notice the amenities really are a notch above what you find in most places downtown. There are indoor pools that somehow always have a sunny spot to find. The gym never seems too busy when you need it. You get access to those crazy views from the business lounge on the 123rd floor as well as places where you can just relax if you do not feel like being out. Sometimes you see families heading to the Sky Lobby just to look at the city lights after dinner. The entrance is never far from the action you have Dubai Mall just a few minutes away plus all the restaurants and little coffee shops that pop up all along the Boulevard. Honestly you can get just about anywhere on foot if you feel like it which is rare in this city.
This apartment just fits the flow of city living without losing that feeling of downtime when you want it. Sometimes it actually feels like a quiet break from everything outside. The best way to know is probably to come see it for yourself. If you want to take a walk through or just have a chat about what it is like to live here just reach out anytime.
