Maybe it is the way the light comes through those big windows or maybe it is just the quiet of the neighbourhood itself but you can almost forget for a minute that you are in Dubai at all. I stood for a few minutes right by the glass and watched the way the sun stretched over the golf course. The green really does go on for ages. Even the hospital King's College is just up the road. Honestly once you settle here you mostly stay put on weekends.
