Marquise Square Tower, Business Bay
Some places just instantly make you slow down and look around and Marquise Square in Business Bay really does that. I have seen a lot of apartments in Dubai over the years but here it is the light you really notice. Even before you head up the building you feel it walking along the promenade right beside the Dubai Water Canal. There is this big-sky feeling that only comes when you have those floor to ceiling windows looking out at the skyline and the canal water and honestly sometimes you just find yourself pausing for a second to take it all in. From up here you get to watch boats float below and the way Downtown Dubai glows in the evening is something special. There is always energy to the area since Business Bay is now where so many things are happening but Marquise Square Tower finds a way to keep things calm and easy. You are never too far from the city buzz but it does not reach your doorstep in any overwhelming way.
I noticed you sometimes hear kids in the play area or the sound of someone making their morning coffee and somehow life just feels slower here even when you remember Burj Khalifa is around the corner. Marquise Square Tower is right at the edge of Business Bay so if you want to walk out along the water or grab a coffee downstairs it never feels like a hassle. When I visited the studio apartments I actually spent a while just looking at how open it all felt. Studio apartments sometimes get a bad rap for feeling small but in this building you will see straight away it does not feel boxed in. The layout is open and simple so you can move around without anything in the way and the windows really bring the outside in. I watched sunlight move slowly across the tiled floor and the space took on a really nice peaceful glow as the day changed.
It is modern but not cold. There are lots of soft colors so you could easily make it yours without doing anything major. That kitchen right away feels like somewhere you might actually cook something from scratch even if your nights are mostly busy. There is plenty of counter space for prepping a meal and good storage for your things nothing wasted nothing oversized just set up smart.
You also get a balcony that might surprise you. From up there you get another angle on the canal and the city and if the night is quiet you sometimes even hear water moving below. Those big windows do not just look dramatic they really make the whole apartment feel bigger and if you are a morning person or someone who likes to watch the city settle down at night it just works.
The building itself feels lived in not just a tower full of strangers. There is a proper gym here with space and light you will not feel cramped. The pool has this relaxed feel and when I was there people were actually using it to hang out or read not just for photos. Life around here seems friendly sometimes you see neighbors chatting or people heading down to the plaza to grab a snack. Marquise Square has a useful retail plaza below so coffee shops and quick groceries are never a problem and if you feel like staying close to home you do not even have to take the car out.
Getting around from here is simple. Downtown Dubai is just a few minutes by car so Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa are really right there. Business Bay metro is close if you ever want to skip parking or just explore around. DIFC is nearby so work is easy and if the weekend calls you towards Dubai Marina or even Palm Jumeirah those drives are pretty quick too.
I have seen all sorts of people here young professionals busy families and even people who split their time between cities but all looking for a place that feels easy to come home to. Marquise Square Tower at Business Bay seems to strike that balance of peace and access that is rare in Dubai.
If you are curious come take a look for yourself. There is no substitute for standing by those windows or having a coffee on the balcony and just seeing if it feels right.
