Marquise Square Tower, Business Bay
Sometimes you walk into a place and everything just feels in the right spot. That is pretty much what happened with this studio apartment at Marquise Square Tower in Business Bay. The moment I stepped inside I kind of understood why people say location is everything. You get this feeling of being right in the thick of Dubai but at the same time there is a surprising bit of calm as soon as you close the door. Marquise Square Tower has a certain energy to it but the apartment itself feels almost like a retreat. The light is always changing in here maybe it is those great floor to ceiling windows looking right out toward the Dubai Water Canal and the city beyond. Sometimes you stand by the window and just let it all soak in. Boats drifting by down below people out jogging along the canal every morning you notice something different. And yes if you look one way you catch a glimpse of the Burj Khalifa which honestly never gets old.
Now the studio layout is kind of clever. It just works. If you have ever tried living in a small space where every corner counts you will know what I mean. The kitchen is actually set up so you could see yourself making a proper meal not just coffee and toast. Siemens appliances are all tucked in neat so it looks seamless. There is enough workspace on the stone countertop that you can lay out breakfast or maybe even host a friend if you want. Storage is well thought out here too I like how it does not jump out at you but all your bits and pieces have somewhere to go. I had a good look in the bathroom and you will feel right away that it is not the usual basic stuff. The fittings are Gessi and Geberit so it just feels solid and a bit stylish. Even something as simple as washing your hands feels a bit more refined here.
But I keep coming back to the views because honestly that is what keeps you grounded. Whether you are starting early with a coffee watching the city wake up or just chilling in the evening with the sunset lighting up the skyline it has a peaceful side you do not always find in Business Bay. The Burj Khalifa sparkles at night sometimes you catch yourself just gazing out and forgetting about your phone for a while. The sounds from below are more like a gentle background not loud or busy just people living their lives.
Living in Marquise Square Tower means the amenities are actually useful for day to day. The gym has plenty of space and the equipment seems newer than most. I have seen people doing actual workouts not just passing time which says something. If you like to swim the pool is one of those that you could do proper laps in if you are feeling energetic or just float and relax after work. The sauna was a surprise for me but it makes such a difference after a busy week. Sometimes you see families using the kids play area which makes things feel friendly like people really live here not just pass through. Downstairs there are shops and places to grab a snack or a coffee so you are not always jumping in the car for the basics. Sometimes a new spot opens up and it adds to that changing city vibe.
Location is sort of the jewel here. Business Bay and Downtown Dubai are right on your doorstep. If you ever want to walk or cycle along the canal that boardwalk is just down the street and gets lively in the evenings with people out and about. The Dubai Mall is pretty close so shopping or movies are never a hassle. Quite a bit to do right around the area and you always find a new café or restaurant popping up which keeps things interesting. Some weekends you just end up wandering without a real plan and that is part of the appeal.
I guess this studio apartment in Marquise Square Tower would be great for someone who wants that city energy but still wants home to be a calm and decent place. The views really make it and it just feels easy to settle in. Sometimes it is hard to put into words what makes a place work for you so the only way to know is to see it yourself.
