Some buildings just make you curious before you even get to the door. I Love Florence, right by the Dubai Canal in Business Bay, has that pull. You notice it as you walk down the canal path or even if you are in a cab zipping through Business Bay at sunset. There is this way the light bounces off the water and paints the building so it stands out but not in a showy way. I still remember the feeling the first time I stepped inside the lobby. Everything just slows down a bit inside. You feel the contrast between the calm indoors and the gentle sounds from outside where the canal is always full of life. Even though Downtown Dubai is so close it kind of feels like you have this secret spot tucked away from it all.
People always ask me about natural light and this place has it locked down. All those floor to ceiling glass walls do more than just let in the sun. Standing by the window you actually want to stay put for a while. I caught myself just watching the boats go by one morning and sort of lost track of time. Something about being that close to the water changes your day a little. When you imagine living here your mornings probably start with that Dubai sky in full view and maybe a cup of coffee where you can see everything wake up around you. The studios here at I Love Florence are not your usual four walls and a window. They really feel wider and more open than you would expect from a studio apartment in Dubai. No awkward corners just space that feels inviting. You can feel that Cavalli touch but it does not try too hard. Small bits of style that just work together. The marble countertop is cool under your palm and the gentle color of the walls settles you down after a busy day. Plus the kitchen does not hide in the corner. It is really a place where you would want to cook if you are into that or maybe invite a friend over for something simple like pasta. It is more lived in than show home even when everything is brand new.
The views of the Dubai Canal are not just a perk. Sometimes you spot joggers heading out before sunrise or families out for an evening stroll when the breeze is up. Downstairs it is never dull. A row of restaurants hugs the canal side and at night the reflections of city lights on the water look different every time. You do not really need to go far for a good coffee or a meal out and that changes a lot of everyday stuff. Living here connects you with the city whether you spend your time out and about or just take it in from your window. Downtown Dubai is right there almost like an extension of your backyard so everything from Dubai Mall to DIFC is honestly a short ride or even walk if you are feeling up to it. You will notice Business Bay has its own rhythm too. There is always a new little cafe popping up and now and then you find locally owned shops that become your go to places.
Back in the building itself the podium area is where life happens. The pool gets this perfect bit of sun in the morning so you might actually use it more than you think. It does not feel packed either so it is easy to relax. The gym downstairs is practical and feels like the kind of spot you could build a routine around not just tell yourself you will go but always skip. And the community is growing so soon you will be able to grab groceries or a pastry without leaving the building. That is the kind of detail that really makes living in Dubai easy.
I Love Florence just sort of balances energy with calm. You come home and right away things slow down a little which is rare this close to all the action in Mohammed Bin Rashid City and Business Bay. These studio apartments are meant for real living not to show off to the world. Every once in a while you might catch yourself putting your phone down just to watch the city go by from your window. That is a pretty good sign it feels like home.
