Studio Apartment in 15 Northside, Business Bay

Some homes really do make you just pause. I wandered into this studio at 15 Northside in Business Bay and it took me a minute to even think about work. You can see the Dubai Canal right from the window and honestly it sort of sets the mood. The light is really lovely in here even when it is late in the day. Sometimes you just feel a place is easy and this one gives that off in a quiet way.

This is a studio apartment but it does not feel cramped at all. You walk in and get that sense of space right away probably because of the floor to ceiling window and the way everything flows in one open shape. There is a balcony too and I stayed out there for a bit when I visited just listening to the city below and getting that air coming off the water. Even the evenings are nice from here. Sometimes you will see joggers right down at the canal or people wandering home from work along the promenade. If you like a spot where you can dip into city life but not always be in the middle of the loudest bits this part of Business Bay is honestly just right.

The kitchen is where you would actually want to cook something real not just reheat. The cabinets are that smooth style where everything closes softly and the countertops feel solid not flimsy. I could see someone making proper dinners here or just setting up a morning coffee while watching the sun creep in. Right by the kitchen you have the bed area with enough closet room for more than just one suitcase. You do not have to be a minimalist to be happy here but if you are it probably feels even easier.

The bathroom is modern and neat with finishing that holds up after a few years nothing too out there just good and practical. And the rest of the apartment gives that same sense. Sometimes new places feel like showrooms but this one is just welcoming in a no hassle kind of way.

One thing you will definitely notice if you are looking for a lifestyle upgrade is the building itself. 15 Northside feels quite fresh from the lobby on up. You have an outdoor terrace where folks actually do work out in the mornings and an infinity pool that overlooks the canal. When I was there someone was reading a book with their feet in the water and it looked like just about the best way to spend a Saturday. If you want to clear your head you can walk or jog right along the canal on those tracks or just check out the retail promenade there are always restaurants with outdoor seats and sometimes you see kids laughing just outside the coffee shop.

The play area for children is better than most in the area and the retail spots downstairs honestly make it easy when you just need snacks or a quick dinner and you do not want to take the car out. Also with parking here you do not have to stress much plenty of space and the security team actually remembers you by face even after a couple visits.

Business Bay has changed over the years and now you have so many more options for getting around. The metro is close and taxis are everywhere. You are not far from Downtown or Dubai Mall but you also get that little separation from the super busy bits. Sometimes after work I just stand at the balcony and watch the light change over the canal and downtown and I sort of forget my phone. That is the kind of feel here.

It is not always easy to know from photos or online words if a studio actually feels right. The only way to tell is to come have a look and see if it fits your day to day.
