The Point, Dubai Marina
Some places just have this certain pull as soon as you walk in. That is how it felt stepping inside this studio apartment at The Point right in the middle of Dubai Marina. Sometimes with studios you do not expect to find all that much but here, honestly, the first thing I noticed was just how open it feels. The windows stretch almost the whole length of the place and all you see outside is the Marina. Boats moving quietly. Even the Dubai Eye off in the distance almost feels like it is part of your view. I actually stood by the window for a while and you really can get lost just watching life from up above.
The apartment is about 400 square feet which sounds compact on paper but when you are inside, the layout really does make it feel bigger. It has that open plan vibe so your kitchen and living area run into each other, which actually works well for making the space feel lighter. The kitchen does not feel like an afterthought either. You have good countertop space that you can actually prep a quick meal on. I could totally see someone hosting a friend or two here. It just feels easy and unfussy.
Now it is worth mentioning that the place is unfurnished at the moment so you really can put your own stamp on it. There are some upgraded finishes you will spot as soon as you walk in. The flooring looked brand new and the paintwork is sharp. There's this subtle lighting along the ceilings that just gives the place a softer feel when the sun goes down. It is not flashy but it feels like someone actually cared about the details. That is just rare with studios sometimes.
The building itself is The Point which is probably one of the more recognisable towers in Dubai Marina. Being here means you are right in the thick of things but you do get some proper quiet too. Downstairs there is always a little bustle with people heading to cafes or popping out for a run along the water. The staff at the lobby seemed to know a lot of faces already and it just feels like a building where people actually live rather than just pass through. There is a gym if you are into your morning workouts and the pool is tucked away from the main street so it actually stays quite peaceful most days.
The real kicker for me is just how close you are to the beach. If you head out and just wander for five minutes or so you end up on that long strip of sand that runs along JBR. I saw a few people carrying paddle boards and you always hear laughter from somewhere nearby. Even if you don't swim, just being able to walk down and have your toes in the sand after work or on a weekend feels a bit special. There are supermarkets, little bakeries, all the coffee shops you would need and the tram is never too far off if you have places to be.
If you are thinking about investment in Dubai Marina or just want a good size studio that you can actually live in and enjoy, this one is already vacant so moving in is simple. I see a lot of apartments every week and sometimes you find ones that try too hard to show off. This one is not like that and I think that is what makes it feel easy. You might find yourself standing at the window and losing track of time, to be honest.
The only real way to know if this studio at The Point is right for you is to come see it in person. If you want to have a proper wander or just chat through the details, I am happy to help anytime. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to make these big moves feel as natural as they should.
All the details you need about your favorite property, neatly packed into one handy file.
