Signature Villas, Palm Jumeirah
Some homes really just start to slow you down the second you walk in and this six bedroom villa in Signature Villas on Palm Jumeirah does exactly that. I spent a bit of time here in the morning and there is just something about the light in the entrance it pours in while you are still taking your shoes off. Lots of people talk about feeling at home but here you somehow settle into it right away. Even before you notice the size of the place honestly you feel the quiet.
First off this is a serious amount of space. Over nine thousand square feet inside and the plot is around fourteen thousand so you never feel boxed in. I wandered through the ground floor for a bit and what actually caught my eye was how many corners there are to just sit and let the day slow down. There are these soft sofa areas and the formal dining is so comfortable but not overly precious you would actually want to invite friends and family and fill it up with laughter. The bar is set off to the side where you could pour a drink or two in the evening without being right in the center of things.
And the kitchen. It is not just another show kitchen if you know what I mean. It has this solid island in the middle and marble all through the counters. Appliances are truly good quality stainless steel. I could see myself chopping veggies looking out toward the Arabian Sea which is actually right outside the window. Cooking here does not feel like a chore at all. The kitchen flows right into everything else so you would not be tucked away on your own if you are hosting.
If you go upstairs it gets even brighter. You have got the other bedrooms lined up and each one feels equally considered. European style wood flooring gives it a kind of warmth you do not always find out here. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms built in and wardrobe spaces right where you need them. The family room upstairs is still set up as a playroom at the moment toys everywhere and you can imagine that as a home cinema or just a quiet spot for a book if you like. There is a lot you could do.
What I really loved is every bedroom has these big windows. You wake up to sunlight instead of alarms. The views look out over the sea most days the water is that calm turquoise and you forget you are actually still in Dubai sometimes. You get windows on both sunrise and sunset depending on which room you are in.
Even outside it keeps getting better. The backyard is sort of that place where everyone gathers. When I visited someone had just finished cleaning the pool and you could see the sea right past it all shades of blue and green. There is a patio with a deck that feels like a little coffee escape. Plus a sunken seating area tucked away for late night talks or just staring up at the sky some nights are really clear out here. They have added a Jacuzzi and the pool is good for real swimming not only for looking pretty in photos.
You also get your own bit of beach. This is quiet private beachfront tucked right up against the garden so you can literally walk down with your coffee still in hand. More than once I have seen kids playing in the water after school and in the evenings joggers using the sand to wind down after work. The upcoming Royal Atlantis is visible from the yard but you never feel crowded.
Living in Palm Jumeirah just means things run a bit slower. You barely hear traffic and the coffee shop is never far off. You see a mix of families and professionals on the walkways during the day which kind of adds to that lived in feeling.
That is the sense you get here. It feels like a real family home ready for something new but already settled which is not always easy to find for sale in this community.
The only real way to tell if it feels right is to come see it yourself. If you have questions about this Signature Villa in Palm Jumeirah or you just want a quiet walk through let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we always try to make your next move as easy and comfortable as possible.
