Damac Hills
Some homes just throw you off in the best way the moment you step inside. This seven bedroom Cavalli villa in Damac Hills is like that. I remember coming in and just standing still for a second. It has that new build energy but it does not feel cold or formal. There is a sense of space that you do not find often, and little design touches everywhere. You'll see them before you even realize it.
When you push open the main door you almost feel the volume around you. The foyer is not just a space to rush through. There is a guest bedroom tucked off to the side which actually works if you ever have family staying or just want a bit of separation. It comes with its own bathroom so nobody feels swapped into a kid's room or anything like that.
Carry on and you hit these two living areas that can be opened up together or kept apart. One side is formal if you want to pretend you throw these elegant dinners. The other feels way more comfortable, sort of like you can just kid around or sprawl on the sofa in front of the TV. They both stretch out towards a garden patio area so even inside you see sunlight everywhere. I stood by the window for a few minutes and watched the way the light hits the pool in the morning. Honestly you may not want to leave for anything.
The kitchen is not tucked away and sad either. They have this show kitchen right beside the family space that connects to a proper chef's kitchen. There's somewhere for real cooking, like Sunday roasts or midnight baking stare downs, not just heating up a late night snack. Plus you get a maid's room right after the service kitchen. It is practical if you ever have help for the house, and honestly it just makes life run smoother.
Out the back there is a big patio where people can drift in and out. The barbecue spot is in the right spot, close to the pool so you are not trekking back and forth. Sometimes you can just imagine a birthday party with noise rolling over the water and someone sneaking off for a quick swim. At one side, they made a separate building for storage and its own bathroom that works as a guesthouse if people want to crash, or maybe even a games room. If you have teenagers or cousins who visit a lot you start to see how that would work.
Upstairs the bedrooms just keep going. Each one has its own bathroom and walk-in closet so there is zero drama about clothes or waiting for showers. One of the bedrooms on this level is almost another master, honestly. It has a bathroom with double sinks which is not common, and its own private terrace that reminds me of those holiday villa views. In the center, there is a green courtyard where you could maybe read or leave some plants. It breaks up the floor nicely and you forget you are inside for a second.
Then the main master on the next floor with a huge dressing room and a bathroom split for two. His and her sinks plus a balcony that easily fits chairs and a table so you could make weekends into mini getaways. There's even a big terrace nearby with a Jacuzzi so sometimes you just want to slide outside at sunset and watch the sky change over the whole community. There is another bedroom up here that could just as easily turn into a playroom or your own quiet sitting space if you feel like hiding from everyone.
Go down and you find the basement. The builders basically thought of how people live for real. There is a big lounge for movie nights, a private cinema room you might actually use because there is enough space for friends. The gym is not squeezed into a corner either. Instead it opens onto a little private courtyard so you get fresh air and some green as you workout. Plus wellness rooms with a sauna and steam area, so it kind of feels like you have a hotel downstairs. There is even a six car garage that doubles as an event space if you need it. Sometimes, people turn these spaces into more of a party room or just a spot to hang out during the winter months.
Walk outside and you're in Damac Hills, which is one of the real family neighbourhoods in Dubai. If you like golf it is all right here. Even if you just like walking, the parks and paths make it easy. Mornings here, you see people biking or heading to the clubhouse café. The grocery is close. Little shops and restaurants are not far if you want something easy.
Truthfully, you have to see this Cavalli villa for yourself. Even just to sit by the patio and notice the way the air moves through the house. If anything caught your attention or if you need to talk through ideas, I'm always here. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to keep things simple and make your next move about you.
