Some places are just easy to settle into, you know what I mean. This one bedroom apartment in Sparkle Towers at Dubai Marina really gave me that feeling as soon as I walked in. There is something almost calming about the space maybe it is the light streaming through those big living room windows or just the chilled out vibe you get when you stand on the balcony and look out at the waterfront below. I actually stood there for a few minutes and just let the air hit my face while watching folks jog on the marina walk in the morning. Sometimes it is the little things.

People are always talking about Dubai Marina and I get why. There is always something happening here but your home still feels private and quiet when you close the door behind you. The location is a winner especially if you want to be near the Jumeirah Beach Walk — that really is only a few minutes away on foot. I have ended my days plenty of times just wandering over for an ice cream or sitting and watching the sunset. If you like keeping active the cycling track is there plus you see paddle boarders and groups heading to the sand with yoga mats most days.

Back inside the apartment you get a sense that it was actually made for living not just for showing off. The kitchen sits just enough out of the way that it does not take over but you can still talk to people sitting at the table or watching TV. I could see myself properly cooking here not just heating up a takeaway. You get fitted closets in the bedroom which is surprisingly spacious for a one bedroom. Loads of sunshine pours in and there is just enough room by the window for a reading chair or maybe even a few plants if you are into that. The bathroom is full of the usual bits and honestly it just feels practical — you can tell it was done with comfort in mind. There is a powder room too so your friends do not have to wander through your bedroom to get to the bathroom if you have them over.

The furnishing really works for people who do not want to fuss with moving big pieces around. It kind of feels like you could bring your suitcase and just settle in from day one. The AC works well and you do not get that stuffy feeling you sometimes get in busy parts of the city. Plus you have just over 860 square feet so there is actual space to spread out which is not that common in one bedroom apartments in Dubai Marina if you have looked around.

One of my favorite things about living in this part of Dubai is the coffee scene. There is always a little café tucked into a corner or a spot where you see people working laptops and sipping on flat whites. You are also never far from Dubai Marina Mall. It is not just shopping by the way. There are cinemas, loads of restaurants casual and fancy and plenty of spots to just wander about if you do not feel like sitting at home. Even just running into someone you know in the lobby or meeting new people in the lift happens more than you think. It is just that kind of building in a community that has a good buzz but is never overwhelming.

If you are looking for a short term rental in Dubai Marina this apartment at Sparkle Towers just kind of ticks a lot of boxes but in a relaxed way. The surroundings are lively but home really feels like somewhere you can recharge. The best thing is you never feel far from anything — whether you want to run, grab a morning coffee, or just open your balcony door and take in the sea air. Seriously, sometimes you almost forget your phone and just watch the world go by.
