Seventh Heaven, Al Barari
Some places just slow you down. The first time I stepped into this one bedroom apartment in Seventh Heaven Al Barari I honestly just stood there for a while looking at the green outside the window and kind of forgetting about everything else. You do not really get this calm everywhere in Dubai. The light here is something you feel as soon as you walk in. Floor to ceiling windows let in so much of it that sometimes I found myself just watching the way the sun moves across the room. There are actual views of Downtown and the Burj Khalifa too but mostly you just see this peaceful green community and a sort of little river winding through it. It is easy to see why Al Barari has such a reputation for being Dubai's greenest area.
You are in Seventh Heaven which fits it somehow because everything is just a bit larger here. I do not see one bedroom apartments this spacious very often. Almost two thousand square feet just feels different. The living room is not just for show either; it is the kind of place where you could have friends over and not worry about space or where to sit. There is this huge terrace around two hundred and thirty feet outside with exactly the same view so your mornings can be coffee looking over the trees instead of just staring at a building. And evenings here – honestly quiet except for the birds sometimes. Kind of rare in the city.
Cooking actually feels real here. The kitchen is open so you are not hidden away if you are making dinner and everything in it is top notch. You have full Miele appliances including a built in microwave and dishwasher and even if you just heat up leftovers every now and then it feels good knowing you could go all out if you wanted to. The way the counters and cupboards are fitted it feels really solid. There are little details like the soft close drawers and high quality finishes that you might not notice at first but end up appreciating.
The bedroom carries the same easy feeling. Big windows again so you wake up with light instead of alarms. Plenty of built in closets and a custom headboard that makes it just that bit cozier. It is en suite of course with fittings that feel almost like you are in a hotel but not in that cold way. The whole thing is unfurnished right now but honestly sometimes that is better since you get to start from scratch and make it yours from day one.
Downstairs you have so much at your doorstep. I counted once and there are over fifty shops and restaurants dotted through the ground level. Sometimes you see families picking up groceries early or neighbors grabbing coffee outside. The coffee shop is never far which for me is pretty important on a weekend. Al Barari is a neighborhood that people stay in. Kids ride bikes on the internal roads and even though you are only around eighteen minutes from Downtown and about twenty from Dubai Marina it never feels rushed.
One thing you will probably notice is just how peaceful the place is. It is got security and privacy but not in a way that feels standoffish. You see friendly faces on the walkways and there is even a bit of community spirit that is just hard to find in newer parts of Dubai. There are gardens and landscaped paths everywhere so taking a walk in the evening is actually a real option. I find that after a day in the city it makes all the difference.
This apartment is one of the best one bedroom layouts I have seen at this price point and in this area. It is definitely built for someone who wants both comfort and a real sense of home rather than just a place to sleep.
The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you have questions or just want to walk through reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to make your next move feel as comfortable as possible.
