Marsa Plaza, Dubai Festival City
Some homes just have a way of putting you at ease before you even step in properly. This one bedroom apartment at Marsa Plaza in Dubai Festival City did that for me. Walking through the main entrance you actually feel the difference that a well designed space can make. It is on a low floor so you are more connected to the neighbourhood and not floating way up on your own. I always find that makes evenings feel a bit warmer. There is a certain buzz here but not the kind that feels loud or busy. It is just enough to remind you that home is right in the heart of things.
The first thing you will probably notice is the amount of space. For a one bedroom apartment in Dubai this is bigger than you might expect. The built up area is just over one thousand square feet so the living area stretches out in a way that feels relaxed. You can see yourself actually settling in here which just makes everything feel easier. I stood by the full window for a while and honestly you kind of lose track of time watching the creek change with the light. That view of Dubai Creek always feels like a little secret treat especially at sunset. It is really something you would not get tired of if water views are your thing. The kitchen is more than just an afterthought. It feels like a proper place where you might slow down in the evening and try out your own recipes instead of always heating something up. The layout gives you enough room to move around without bumping into things and you will notice real storage not just cupboards squeezed wherever they fit. Sometimes I think this place makes it easy to want to spend more time at home.
The bedroom is an easy favourite. Again more space than you usually see in a one bedroom apartment at Dubai Festival City and enough room for a big bed with tables plus even a desk if you work from home or just need a spot for your laptop. The closets are large which honestly does make a difference. You do not have to keep moving your clothes around just to make things fit. The bathroom has that clean bright feeling you want with modern fittings and good water pressure which you only really appreciate if you have lived somewhere without it.
Downstairs the lifestyle is really comfortable. There is a proper gym and you can tell people actually use it. New equipment comes in and you can get into classes if you want something more social. The outdoor pool lights up in the morning sun. Some days you will find neighbours just taking coffee down there and starting their day slow or kids racing around after class. It gives the place a small town feel even though you are in the thick of Dubai Festival City. The supermarket is practically at your doorstep which means last minute groceries are never a problem and there is a hairdresser and a dry cleaner which is a lifesaver if you have busy weeks. There is even a restaurant that is well known in the building and it gets lively in the evenings so you never really feel alone if you stay in.
One of the best things about living at Marsa Plaza is how you can actually walk to a lot of places. Festival City is famous for its huge shopping mall and you are minutes away from over three hundred stores plus coffee shops and bakeries you might not have heard of yet. On weekends families are out heading to the cinema or just strolling around. There is so much life but nothing ever feels crazy or crowded which I think is hard to find in Dubai.
Just a heads up this apartment for sale comes with some real advantages on the money side. Right now you can move in by only paying a quarter of the price and stretch the rest over the next five years with no Dubai property registration fee and no commission to worry about which is rare. Even better the developer is waiving the service charge for now so that is one less thing on your mind. There are a few details to check on these offers but if you are looking to buy an apartment in Dubai these things matter.
Keep in mind this home comes unfurnished so you can make it feel like your own from day one. If you feel like this layout is close but not quite right there are other options in Marsa Plaza and I can walk you through those too.
The only real way to know if this apartment with creek view is the one that fits you is to come see it. Reach out any time just to talk or to set up a visit. At LuxuryProperty.com we want your next move to feel like something you actually look forward to.
