Marquise Square, Business Bay
Some places just feel sort of calm the moment you walk in. That was the first thing I noticed about this one bedroom apartment at Marquise Square in Business Bay. The building sort of hugs the busy energy of Dubai without letting any of it overwhelm you. You can sense that right away. When I first came in here you get this little moment of quiet before you even notice how close you are to some of the best things in Dubai and you realize you are right in the heart of everything but it does not feel stressful. Actually you can see part of the skyline peeking through the huge windows from almost any corner you stand and it just makes you want to get closer and have a look.
The space itself is set up in a way that just makes sense for day to day living. The bedroom is honestly bigger than you might expect for a place in Business Bay. Sometimes in city apartments you end up having to slide around the bed to open the wardrobe or give up having a desk but not here. There is plenty of room and pretty generous wardrobes so you can actually spread out and not bump into things. When I was there the natural light in the bedroom felt especially nice. Morning sun just streams in and you get this comfortable glow that feels pretty relaxing right from the start of your day.
But it is the private terrace that really makes this one stand out. I stood out there for a few minutes and you can see almost all of Dubai stretching in front of you. The iconic Burj Khalifa is right there in the skyline and you are close enough that sometimes the sun catches its glass and makes it shine. I kept thinking how easy it would be to just sit out here in the morning with a coffee or maybe unwind in the evening and just watch the city lights blink on as the sun goes down. Sometimes you even hear kids riding by on their bikes in the evenings or notice people jogging along the Dubai Canal.
The living area and dining space sort of blend together. It is open but also has enough space so you do not feel like you are sitting on your kitchen while you relax. I noticed that the floor to ceiling windows really keep the whole place bright through the day so you probably will not even need to turn on lights unless it is night. And honestly the kitchen feels like somewhere you would really cook, not just microwave something. It has enough room for actual cooking and a few friends hanging around waiting for food.
A nice thing about Marquise Square is just how practical it feels. Even when you step outside you are right along Burj Khalifa Street. So you are always a quick walk or short drive from DIFC Downtown Dubai or Dubai Mall. But when you are back home it never feels hectic. There are always cafes nearby for a good morning coffee or maybe you just drop by one of the bakeries before heading out. On weekends there is a different quiet vibe and the Dubai Canal is only a few minutes away so if you want a break from the city you can just go for a walk or even a jog.
Parking here never feels like a headache which is a small thing but it matters if you drive. The building itself is well taken care of, clean without feeling stuffy, not too busy. You get a sense people really live here and care about the place. There is enough privacy but also neighbors who might nod hello which honestly is nice in the middle of a city.
If you are looking for a one bedroom apartment in Business Bay with a Burj Khalifa view that does not feel cramped or generic this place at Marquise Square could be a good fit. It works for everyday life but also feels a little bit special. The only way to really know if it feels right is to spend a little time here. Photos do not always show how calm it can get even with the city so close. If you want to have a look or just chat about the place reach out to me any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we want your next place to actually feel like home not just somewhere you stay.
