Some apartments just have a calm about them before you even cross the threshold. This one bedroom at Executive Residences in Dubai Hills Estate felt like that to me. I got there around lunchtime and honestly, all the city noise just faded out the second I stepped inside. It is on an upper floor so sunlight pours right through these big windows and there is something about the view looking out over the boulevard and all those green stretches of Dubai Hills Park that just makes you want to stop and hang around a while.

I know people say that about a lot of places but here, you can actually leave your car parked for days.

You will also notice the whole building is really well looked after. The lobby does not feel cold or formal, more like a place you run into your neighbors in sweaty gym clothes and no one cares. The elevators work fast, the hallways are bright, even at night it always just feels safe.

With one bedroom and about six hundred fifty square feet, it is the sort of place that works just as easily for a single person or a couple. I can see someone working from home here, or even using it as a base if you travel a lot but want Dubai comfort to come back to.
