Sometimes you just know a place is going to feel good before you even see everything and this one bedroom apartment at Bellavista in Damac Hills really sets that tone from the second you walk through the door. It is hard to tell at first if it is the soft daylight coming through the floor to ceiling windows or the way the space opens up ahead of you, but there is something calm about it. I actually stopped for a moment by the window, partly to watch a bit of golf off in the distance and partly because the view of the Trump International Golf Course is even better in person than in the photos. Morning sunlight really does something to the atmosphere in here. The open plan living and dining area is just really easy to be in. You can see yourself kicking off your shoes, putting coffee on and maybe catching up on some reading while sitting by the window.

People talk about golf views and sometimes it is not all that, but here you really can just watch the course, maybe with a cup of tea or coffee. With a built up area of six hundred twenty four square feet, it does not feel cramped at all. Actually, you end up finding bits of space where you can just slow down. Sometimes you even hear some birds in the morning, which is surprising for Dubai.

Life in Bellavista is pretty lively but never too busy. There is a real mix of people around. Sometimes you see families taking a stroll through the gardens or kids scooting around in the evenings when it is cooler. There is a dedicated supermarket in the community so whenever you run out of milk or need to grab a snack, it is barely a few minutes away. For families or singles, the international school is just around the corner, so school runs are a breeze.

The amenities are top notch and actually get used, which says a lot. There is a big gym downstairs with everything you really need for a good workout and it does not have that cold hotel gym vibe. The spa and sauna are open and inviting. I even heard from a resident about the temperature controlled pool, which means even in the summer, taking a dip feels good. Outside, it gets better with the tennis courts, skate park and an open air gym. I have seen people jogging or just hanging out in the gardens, which are well kept but do not make you feel like you should not step on the grass.

What really sets this apartment apart, aside from the views and all the amenities, is that everything feels close. Whether you are a golf enthusiast wandering over to the course or just someone who likes a quiet stroll in the evenings, Damac Hills never feels out of the way. Sometimes you barely notice how close everything really is until you settle in.
