Azure Residences, Palm Jumeirah
Some places just have a way of making you feel at home before you even take your shoes off. That is honestly the first thing that happened to me when I walked into this one bedroom apartment in Azure Residences at Palm Jumeirah. There is something about hearing the faint sound of waves below and looking out to see the city and the beach all in one sweep. If you have ever wondered whether you could have a quiet coffee outside but also live where there is something always happening, this spot kind of lets you have both. I actually stood out on the terrace for a bit and you can see that sunrise is an actual event here. The Burj Al Arab just sits there in perfect view, and if you are into morning yoga or just want a really good place to read the news and breathe, well, it just makes sense.
The apartment itself is pretty big for a one bed. It is almost hard to believe how much space you get both inside and outside. That terrace is not just for show, it is actually a place you would hang out. I noticed that the bedroom has its own spot right onto the terrace so if you like a bit of fresh air in the morning or want to step out before bed, you really can do that. Everything feels open. The living and dining area flows into a kitchen that is semi open, which, personally, I like. You get to cook and talk, or at least see what is going on even if you are heating up takeaway from one of the places nearby.
I was surprised by how much you can do outside your doorstep too. The building is right on the water so you have that resort vibe all the time, not just on weekends. Choithrams supermarket is literally a walk away so it is easy to pick up whatever you forgot or want last minute. Sometimes you see families heading to the pool and honestly the gym here is way better than most. The pool is quiet sometimes and then there are days when you will hear a few kids splashing but it always seems pretty relaxed. If you are into diving, you would not even need to drive far. You could grab your gear and be in the water in minutes. The water is usually calm and you see a few boats bobbing up and down which sort of adds to that Palm Jumeirah lifestyle everyone talks about.
The whole feel of Azure Residences is a little more laid back than some other towers on the Palm. I get the sense that people who live here really do use the beach and do not just look at it. There are lots of great places to eat nearby. Getting into the city is actually pretty easy. You are not far at all from The Pointe or Nakheel Mall so shopping and dining are around the corner. And if you are someone who likes to explore a few different cafes, you will always have new ones to try. Plus, evenings tend to get quieter and you can just walk around without all the city noise. Sometimes you spot people jogging or walking dogs and it kind of grounds you.
For a single person or even a couple looking for something peaceful but still close enough to the fun, this one bedroom at Azure Residences might actually be what you are after. There is something about waking up to that view that just never seems to get old. And the living space just feels much bigger than what you usually get in apartments around Palm Jumeirah. It is more than just a place to crash, it is somewhere you would want to live.
Anyway, the only way to know if this feels right for you is to come see it yourself. If you have questions or you just want to walk through and get a feel for the place, just reach out whenever. At LuxuryProperty.com, we just want your next home to feel like it fits.
