You will also notice how this place does not feel boxed in at all. The penthouse is proper big at over twelve thousand square feet. That is the kind of size where you could host everyone you know and still have room for yourself. There are four big bedrooms and each one just feels a little tucked away from the others. I peeked into a few and they all have these soft, soothing colors that make it easy to just breathe out and relax. The kitchen here really feels like the sort of place you might want to cook in. It is fully fitted but not intimidating, actually somewhere you could boil pasta and watch the skyline at night or just make coffee in the morning. Sometimes you almost forget your phone being here, because you find yourself just looking out instead.

I think one of the best things about this penthouse is the natural light. There are floor to ceiling windows in almost every room and you get this ever changing view of the water and Dubai's skyline. At sunset, I stood by the glass and everything just went gold. You can see the city lights flicker on in the distance, but inside, the warm calm stays. It feels like living on the edge of the city but at the same time in the middle of the sea.

When you do feel like going out, there is plenty here to do without getting in the car. The podium level has this infinity pool that really curves out toward the water. It is not really crowded, just a few neighbors quietly swimming or chatting. There is a gym and a cinema too, good for lazy afternoons or when you feel like being social. You get direct access to the private beach any time you want, and sometimes you see kids running in the sand while grownups just stroll with coffee. The clubhouse is tucked in at Club 104, where you can find a great meal or meet up for a quiet drink. I always think it is the little things that add up to a good life here. Sometimes it feels like you are staying at a nice hotel except it is actually home.

Honestly, these W Residences penthouses are rare and I have not seen another quite like this one for sale right now.
