Marinascape Avant, Marinascape, Dubai Marina
Some homes just have that feeling the moment you walk in and honestly, this four bedroom penthouse at Marinascape in Dubai Marina is one of them. I think it is something about the light in here because as soon as I pulled open that front door, everything felt warmer and a little more open. It is really a place that takes its time revealing itself. You look out one window and see the Marina, and then you step onto a terrace and suddenly you are catching a glimpse of Emaar Beachfront or even the shape of the Palm in the distance. You cannot really look away for long.
The penthouse actually spreads out over four floors which is a bit of a surprise at first. The living and dining area is all open plan with these huge windows that go right up to the ceiling, so even if you are just sitting with a coffee in the morning or having friends over at night, the city sort of comes into the room with you. You can see boats on the water, and even sometimes you forget your phone and just kind of stand there for a few minutes watching. There are big terraces everywhere. Sometimes you get these little patches of sun coming through and you just want to have breakfast outside even if you are in your pajamas.
All of the bedrooms come with their own bathrooms and honestly each one feels like it would work for everyone from teens to guests or even a home office. The master bedroom though feels like a suite all on its own. There is this massive bathtub that looks out across the Marina, and the shower is actually big enough that you do not ever feel cramped. Walk into the wardrobe and it is easy to imagine never having to argue over closet space again. There is even a small room just for massages which just feels a bit too tempting if you ask me. It is a kind of detail you do not always see and I think it makes winding down after a long day feel a bit like a ritual.
You head upstairs and there is this whole floor that has been turned into a chill out spot. You find a sauna and a steam room, which let me tell you, on those days when the city just gets a bit much, is about as relaxing as it gets. There are sun loungers lined up with a big TV and a shower that is bigger than some bedrooms I have seen. It is one of those spots where you can just leave everything behind and just chill out with music or a book or honestly nothing at all.
Move up again and it gets a little more private. There is a one bedroom duplex that leads right up to the rooftop pool and hot tub. That pool is something else. Infinity style so you just look out and the water kind of blends with the Marina below. It is not just for show either. The water is always the right temperature and you could actually swim laps or just float and look at the city lights reflecting off the water in the evenings. Sometimes you see kids biking below across the Marina paths and in the evenings you might even catch the sound of music coming over from the restaurants around Pier 7. The coffee shop is never far, and weekend mornings can start with just a walk along the water.
The penthouse is unfurnished at the moment which in my opinion is a good thing. You get to make it your own and bring in the kind of style you like best. And with almost nine thousand square feet there is honestly space for anything you can imagine. Five proper bedrooms plus all the terraces for reading or yoga or just napping in the shade. The views might be the main event but the little things, like how quiet it gets at night or how the air feels fresh out on the terrace, really stay with you.
The best way to know if it fits is honestly to come and see it for yourself. If you want to walk through or just have a chat about what it is really like to live here, reach out whenever you like. At LuxuryProperty.com, we just want the move to feel as comfortable as your favorite chair.
