Imperial Avenue, Downtown Dubai
Some places just make you stop for a second as soon as you walk in and honestly this four bedroom apartment in Imperial Avenue Downtown Dubai did exactly that for me. I remember stepping close to the huge windows and just pausing for a bit because the direct Burj Khalifa views right in front of you are sort of hard to ignore. It is one of those rare Downtown Dubai apartments where the Dubai Fountain feels like it is almost part of your living room. At night there is this whole scene with the sparkle of water and city lights which just feels a little unreal in the best way and you do get that reminder that you are right smack in the heart of everything Downtown. Funny enough though once you are inside you just get this sense of calm that is not what you expect from a location like this.
Something else you will notice pretty quickly the ceilings here are not the normal kind of height. They are higher and it really changes the whole feel. Makes every room just kind of breathe on its own and I never felt boxed in. Sunlight fills each space from early morning to late afternoon. Even just walking from one bedroom to the next or heading to the living area it all feels relaxed and open. No weird corners or bits of furniture you need to scoot around. The flow just makes sense and sometimes that is the one thing you really come to appreciate in an apartment.
And the kitchen surprised me because it is a real kitchen you can imagine cooking in not just heating up coffee in the morning before work. The finishes are easy on the eye and not too much and honestly it just works. The space is both practical and a spot you would actually want to stand in either to look outside over Downtown Dubai or to step through onto your private deck. Out there you are high above the city and from that angle you see everything which somehow makes you want to stay out for a bit longer. Sometimes it feels like this is the perfect spot for a quiet night alone or even having a few friends over with the whole city as your backdrop. The little details are all thought out which is pretty rare.
When you head into the bedrooms you notice they are actually big enough for real life. Wide windows let in softer morning light so some days you are just tempted to stay in bed that extra ten minutes. You get privacy up here too so all those views always feel like they belong to your apartment. Sometimes you almost forget about your phone and just end up staring out or resting.
The building itself has the kind of amenities Downtown Dubai is known for. There are always things to do right outside but you do not have to leave the property to work out or chill out. There are gyms and pools right downstairs so you get the best of both worlds. Evenings you might notice the gentle hum of the city when you sit out on your deck but it never gets too much. If you are out for a coffee or taking a walk along the promenade the best thing is you do not really have to plan anything. Everything you might want is just kind of there. Sometimes you see kids playing below or people biking at dusk and it really feels like a lived in part of Dubai.
The finishes here are elegant in a really low key way so you do not feel like you are living inside a showroom. You can easily picture a few pieces of art or your own books along the shelves. The views honestly never get boring and there are nights you might not even bother with the TV because the outside is always putting on some kind of show.
Living here puts everything from restaurants to shops and even schools right at your doorstep. It just makes life smooth and easy enough. But at the end of the day you really do have to walk through and get a feel for it yourself. If you are curious or just want to see if this could be your space let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we are here to make your move into Downtown Dubai as comfortable and calm as possible.
