5 Bedroom Villa in Fire, Jumeirah Golf Estates

Some homes just have that sense of calm the second you step inside. This five bedroom villa at Orange Lake in Jumeirah Golf Estates gave me that feeling right at the door. You walk up through these Mediterranean arches and for a second it smells almost grassy and warm. There is this old Tuscan look about the place but it feels genuine and lived in if you know what I mean. Not showy. It is tucked in the Fire neighborhood which is a quiet part of Jumeirah Golf Estates where you never really hear much other than birds in the morning. Some evenings you might catch a few golf carts drifting by at sunset and honestly people just seem relaxed around here.

The front hallway opens out so generously. You get the sense this place just wants to welcome people. Right off the entry you have a guest bedroom with its own bathroom so when family visits they get their privacy. Even the help is thought of here with the driver's room off to one side and maids tucked away nearby. There is a powder room for guests but it does not feel overly formal. Just easy.

The stairs are actually lovely. Sunlight pours down from the upstairs landing all day so you do not need to flick a switch. Sometimes you catch little angles of the lake as you move up to the first floor and it is surprising how blue everything looks from above. The upstairs is bright and the hallway is wide so it almost feels like a gentle breeze could go through. There are two family lounges upstairs which is kind of rare and makes movie nights a lot more comfortable since there is not really a bad seat.

Bedrooms here are all big but it is the master suite you will remember. Double doors open into a space that feels like a proper retreat. You get a private balcony just for morning coffee or a quiet phone call if you need to escape. The view is all green lawns and glimpses of the water with golf course in the background. The bathroom comes with a big bath and honestly it is easy to imagine soaking here with no rush at all. Storage is not a problem either. Come down to the living spaces and it just all flows so easily. The sitting room looks out to the back lawn through patio doors where you can let the kids run outside while you keep an eye on them. I actually stood in there for a while because it does not feel like some show kitchen but a real one. There is a little hallway that hides away the laundry and leads straight outside which is something you will appreciate if you have sports kit coming in from the garden.

The pool at the back is a good size so you can do laps if you feel energetic or just float and take in the lake. You have views that peek through to the golf course and some days it really is just you and the sound of the breeze.

Pull in and you have your own driveway and a closed garage where nobody fights for parking. Security here in Jumeirah Golf Estates is well managed but genuinely friendly. You bump into neighbors and a quick wave just happens. The community is well looked after with paths for evening walks or sometimes you see kids on bikes.
