Tilal Al Ghaf
Some homes are quiet from the outside but once you step in, you get a whole other feeling. This eight bedroom villa out at Lanai Islands in Tilal Al Ghaf is really one of those. I remember just pausing in that triple height courtyard for a second, actually listening to the way the light fills up everything. In this place, you get this sense of things opening up no matter where you walk. It settles on you pretty quickly.
So first off, the home runs over four levels which actually makes it feel sort of like a world of its own. There is a basement but it does not feel like any kind of basement I have seen before. You find yourself standing in what is basically a giant car gallery and it really is more like a showroom. You could park ten cars down here and still throw a party. There is also a full size cinema, home gym, a spa and salon, plus a lounge for hanging out that does not feel like anyone's afterthought. You will find a heavy kitchen there too. Sometimes, with this much space, it is easy to lose the sense of comfort but somehow this place stays warm.
When you walk back upstairs, the main floor stretches out around this impressive courtyard. You have both a formal dining and a great room so if you ever like hosting, it just makes sense. The kitchen is sort of in two parts. There is the show kitchen which looks sleek enough for a cooking show but actually feels like somewhere someone could whip up dinner for real. Right next to it, the service kitchen is big enough for back and forth action if you have help. The guest bedroom sits tucked into a quiet corner which guests will really appreciate. On the other side of the ground floor, there is an office that even comes with a little conference area so if you like to work from home or have friends over for a project, it fits right in.
It is easy to fall into the outdoor spaces here because there are so many that spill out from the main rooms. There are four different lounge areas and no two are exactly the same. Sometimes you could pick the sunken fire pit for a winter evening or the open air dining spot for an easy breakfast. The lawns wrap around with spots to sit, read, or even just look out at the water. The lagoon is just right there and the floating lounge always catches your eye. Honestly, one of my favorite touches is the jetty out over the water. You almost forget your phone out here.
When you move upstairs, the bedrooms all give you a feeling of space. The main suite is big, sits in its own quiet part of the home, and gets all the early morning light. It is set up so you have two dressing rooms and you can pick between different bathroom layouts. Some people like the idea of having totally separate his and hers en suites and you have the option for that. The five more bedrooms upstairs are spread out for privacy and there is one you could easily turn into a second master if that suits. There is also a big pajama lounge and a study so kids or even adults have a place that just feels casual. Even a nanny's room or a second office — you can choose how it works.
The rooftop is another world again. Views from here go all the way over Tilal Al Ghaf and the Lagoon Al Ghaf. You can really see the whole community waking up in the morning or lights across the water at night. Sometimes you even hear the water birds here, especially in the evenings.
Lanai Islands is honestly one of the more peaceful spots in Tilal Al Ghaf. Kids play by the lagoon sometimes. The community itself is gated with its own private bridges in and out. All the amenities are there. You will not have to look far for recreation spaces, playgrounds and schools are nearby and there is a feeling of everything being easy. The coffee shop is never far if you want an early start or an afternoon break.
Truth is, this villa is not just big. It just feels thoughtful and somehow calm, even though you have so much room for family, friends, hobbies, even work if you want it.
Best way to know if it fits you is to come walk through it. If you want to see it or just chat through all the customization options, reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty dot com we like to make it all feel a little bit easier.
