Ashjar, Al Barari
Some homes give off a different energy as soon as you walk through the door. This three bedroom apartment in Ashjar at Al Barari does exactly that. I remember coming by one late afternoon and for a bit I just stood in the living room listening to nothing but the soft breeze coming through. If you have spent any time in Dubai you know that kind of peace is not something you find everywhere. Here it feels easy to let your mind wander. It is tucked away inside all this lush green so even though the towers of the city are never far in the distance you feel like you are somewhere a little more rested.
You will notice straight off just how much space you really get with this apartment. Over three thousand square feet is a lot to work with. There is a sense that nothing is crammed or rushed and you have places to be quiet or just stretch out. I walked out on the terrace as the sun was setting and the skyline looked peaceful instead of busy. There is something calming about being close to the city but not caught up in it and I think Ashjar is made for people who need that touch of nature while still keeping things practical.
Every bedroom feels like its own separate corner of the home. It is not just about sleeping there. You could set up a reading nook or have space to play music or even work quietly in the evening without being in anyone's way. They all have their own bathrooms which is always convenient and the wardrobes are actually bigger than what you find in a lot of Dubai apartments. If you have too many clothes or bags you will be fine here. Even the maids room is set up so it feels like a proper extra space rather than just a box someone squeezed into a floor plan.
The kitchen got me thinking about cooking real food not just grabbing takeaway. With Miele appliances lined up and all that counter space you could imagine slow breakfasts or getting some friends over for brunch without feeling packed in. What I kept noticing is how the kitchen just flows right into the dining and living area so conversation never stops. Everything moves together in a way that feels natural.
The best part about life at Ashjar is how it is wrapped up in gardens and trees. When I walked outside you could hear birds much louder than you ever hear traffic. The walkways are soft with greenery and sometimes you catch kids riding their bikes or families just strolling before dinner. In the evenings it is quiet, maybe a little music from a balcony if you are lucky but nothing ever loud. Two terraces mean you can find your own spot for morning coffee or just take a late call when you want air. And for practical things, there are two parking spaces which I know from experience makes everything easier.
Al Barari as a whole feels almost like a private world. You get privacy and calm but nothing feels remote. Shops and coffee places are nearby if you ever just need to get out and most of Dubai's main spots are not far at all by car. People talk about the community here which really means something. There is a friendliness among neighbours but also so much freedomโthe trees and water features do a lot to take the edge off the city buzz.
If you are imagining your next home surrounded by greenery with real space to breathe and live comfortably, I honestly think you will want to see this one in person. It is vacant and ready so you can move whenever you feel the time is right. The only real way to know if it fits is to walk around and let yourself feel the place. If you have a question about anything or just want to see it for yourself let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we are all about making you feel at ease when moving on to your next place. Sometimes it comes down to a feeling and this apartment at Ashjar really does have it.
